Week of July 29th-August 2nd cont… Camp (4th—6th) There is so much pride and hard work that goes into constructing a quality product. This week we will learn to build things step by step as we learn to read blueprints, create material lists, utilize real tools, and expand our constructions skills. From building birdhouses to larger projects such as pinball machines and furniture, grab your hardhat and get ready for a busy week of construction! (4th-6th) This camp is a hands-on exploration of wilderness survival. Form tribes and compete in fun Survivor challenges to collect clean water, identify edible plants, find your way with a compass, build a shelter and signal for help. Survival is all about attitude; how will your team survive? (7th-9th) Science, technology, engineering, art, and math merge as you jump into the Project Edventure Makerspace Lab! Design, experiment, build, and invent! Construct, test, and explore using out of the box thinking. We will have craft supplies, hardware, tools and so much more. What you create is up to you! BIG DEAS Summer Camp Curiosity, creativity, and innovation come alive at Project Edventure’s Big Ideas Summer Camp. Immersed in STEAM-rich experiences, students envision, design, build, experiment, program, create, and explore. We foster active, curiosity- driven learning by giving students the opportunity to engage in meaningful ways, using real tools in our hands-on workshops. Summer is the time to get active! With trips to Stone Pond, group games, free play, and sports integrated into our daily schedule campers are sure to be tired by the end of the day! Each week we will embark on a new adventure as we get out and explore new and exciting places with our Friday field trips. At Summer Camp Creativity, innovation, and fun are the foundations of all our activities. It is our goal to help campers soar academically and socially, by creating programming that engages their mind, entices them to ask questions, guides them to search for answers and promotes healthy physical activity. Full $145.00/week, Reduced $90.00/week Free $55.00/week Sibling Discount- For each additional student you have enrolled in camp your tuition rate goes down one step. (Ex: if you qualify for Full Pay Lunch the tuition for your second child would be the Reduced Lunch Rate) There is no sibling discount if your family qualifies for Free Lunch. Children must be attending the same week to receive the discount. Scholarships are Available Non-Resident Rates $175.00/week Non-Resident Sibling Discount- A 25% tuition discount will be given for each additional child you have enrolled in camp. Children must be attending the same week to receive the discount. Enrollment for camp is weekly. Our sliding scales available to Marlborough residents by our 21st CCLC funding and is contingent on a families

qualification of free/reduced lunch.

Full $145.00/week, Reduced $90.00/week

Free $55.00/week

Sibling Discount- For each additional student you have enrolled in camp your tuition rate goes down one step. (Ex: if

you qualify for Full Pay Lunch the tuition for your second child would be the Reduced Lunch Rate) There is no sibling

discount if your family qualifies for Free Lunch. Children must be attending the same week to receive the discount.

Scholarships are Available

Week of July 22nd-26th Clowning Around Circus Training (1st-3rd)

Join Project Edventure circus training to have a blast clowning around with your friends! This week you will learn what it takes to join the circus through some hysterical clowning and acting workshops, make-up design, balancing acts, juggling, stunts,

and pyramids, plus so much more!

Experiments, Excitement, & Science (1st-3rd) Get ready for an exciting week of exploding volcanoes, making

slime, creating a tornado in a bottle and growing your own crystals. These are all projects that every great scientist did as

a child to get inspired to continue their journey of experimentation and exploration!

Sports Unlimited (4th-6th) Do you have a love for sports? Join the team, train, practice,

develop new skills, and find confidence in yourself! We will take the time to learn the rules of the games, practice techniques,

and gain the skills to work as a team.

Training Camp (4th-6th) Creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving are what

Destination Imagination is all about. Which challenges will you choose to take on with your team? Will it be technical,

scientific, engineering, fine arts, improv, or service learning? Whatever your team decides, don’t forget about instant

challenges!

All Things Art… (7th-9th) Pottery, wood burning, mosaics, cartooning, digital design… you do not need to be good at drawing or painting to be an

artist! Throughout this week you will have the chance to work with all different mediums of art to broaden your interests and artistic skill set. Afraid you do not have a creative bone in your body? No worries! In All Things Art, you are sure to succeed.

Week of July 29th-August 2nd Young Artists (1st-3rd)

Grab a paintbrush and get ready for a week immersed in all things art. Explore an array of famous artists, their styles, and recreate some of the most renowned artwork from around the

world! You are sure to find a form of art that inspires you as we test out all art mediums including clay, mosaics, paint,

drawing, and more!

CAMP(1st-3rd) Draft blueprints, create insane Rube Goldberg machines and utilize real tools and skills as you build simple machines, a

boat, or a fantastic piece that you design yourself. We will learn to create things step by step and have fun along the way.

Week of July 8th-12th cont… (4th-6th)

Science, technology, engineering, art, and math merge as you jump into the Project Edventure Makerspace! Design,

experiment, build, and invent! Construct, test, and explore using out of the box thinking. We will have Makey-Makey

boards, craft supplies, hardware, tools and so much more. What you create is up to you!

Helping Hands (7th-9th)

“Every act of kindness creates a ripple with no end.” Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get out into the community to

volunteer and make a difference. Help at the local humane society, start a food drive or paint large murals in town. The

possibilities are endless, and it all starts with you!

Week of July 15th- 19th Training Camp (1st-3rd)

Creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving are what Destination Imagination is all about. Which challenges will you

choose to take on with your team? Will it be technical, scientific, engineering, fine arts, improv, or service learning?

Whatever your team decides, don’t forget about instant challenges!

Into the Wild (1st-3rd) Do you know how to identify edible plants in the woods, how to safely start a campfire, or how to set up a tent in a place that will stay dry and warm? There are so many amazing things in the woods that surround the Project Edventure camp, let’s get

out and explore as we step Into the Wild!

(4th-6th) Why stay inside when there is so much to see and do? Let’s set out into the woods around us, go on excursions that bring us to

new places, go on bike rides and even go on a treasure hunt with geocaching!

(4th-6th) As you travel to different countries and cultures, you will not only learn about a particular form of art but also about the importance of artistic expression. From the geology of the

precious stones used in ceremonial Aztec masks to the mathematics of creating Russian Matryoshka dolls that can

nest inside of each other, every day of camp immerses you in an entirely new culture.

(7th-9th)

There is so much to do! You just need to get out and start doing it! From bike rides, exploring new trails, checking out local businesses, learning to canoe and even hiking a mountain,

your summer adventure starts here!

Week of July 1st-July 5th Laboratory (1st-3rd)

Let your imagination go wild as we invent, experiment, brainstorm, and problem solve! From doodlebugs to rockets, there is no limit! All great inventors have to start somewhere.

Let your adventure begin at the Innovation Laboratory!

To Infinity & Beyond (1st-3rd) Fly up, up and away as we venture through our Earth’s

atmosphere to the outer reaches of the solar system. Become a member of our astronaut team to learn about space travel, mysterious planets, constellations, the amazing pioneers of

space travel and even create your own space shuttle!

Time Travelers (4th-6th) Have you ever thought about taking a step back in time? Join

your friends on an adventure of a lifetime that brings you through the many different decades. From the roaring ’20s to the groovy 60s… your time spent at camp is sure to be a blast

from the past!

Mad Props Theater Camp (4th-6th) Enter the world of theater and unleash your creativity through

movement, improvisation, script writing, music, and theatre production. Not interested in being in the limelight? There is

plenty to do behind the scenes like lighting, makeup, set creation, costumes, and stage management!

Nailed, Glued, & Stapled DIY (7th-9th) We will be nailing, gluing and stapling some of the most

awesome upcycled, DIY projects this week! Turn old furniture into something awesome, create signs or lawn furniture out of pallet boards, learn to sew a bag out of repurposed shirts. The

possibilities are endless!

Week of July 8th-12th Sports Unlimited (1st-3rd)

Do you have a love for sports? Join the team, train, practice, develop new skills, and find confidence in yourself! We will

take the time to learn the rules of the games, practice techniques, and gain the skills to work as a team.

(1st-3rd) Whether you are into household pets, farm animals, woodland

creatures, animals of the desert, amphibians, or jungle animals, Animal Planet week is for you! Jump into this wild world as you learn mind-boggling facts about how they live,

what they eat, how they survive, and so much more!

(4th-6th) Become a member of Project Edventure’s NASA team as we

venture through our Earth’s atmosphere to the outer reaches of our solar system. Learn about space travel, mysterious

planets, constellations, the amazing pioneers of space travel, and even build and launch a rocket!
