Mechanical Requirements Computer-to-plate (CTP) specificationsApplications/Documents: We prefer hi-res PDFs with all fonts outlined, but will also accept InDesign files.

Color: All documents, images, artwork and spot colors must be submitted in CMYK.

Size: Your ad should be built to the exact dimensions as indicated on the left in the chart under Mechanical Requirements. Please be sure images extend an additional .125" beyond trim (8.375" x 10.875") if your ad bleeds.

Images: Uncompressed TIFF or EPS files images saved in CMYK. • All images should be scanned at 300 dpi • Images must be placed in your ad document at 100% • LINE ART should be scanned at 1200 dpi

Fonts: When native files are supplied, please use Adobe Type 1 fonts ONLY. Include all fonts (both printer and screen). Do not assume that the fonts will be on our systems. Include fonts used in EPS files or convert type to outline. No True Type fonts can be accepted.

Composite Required: All ads must include a composite laser for all ad pages.

Proofs: If you choose, you may supply a SWOP Certified color proof (Example: Fuji PictroProof, Digital Water Proof, Matchprint, Approval and PolaProof). Printer will attempt to color match on press, as closely as possible, to what is provided.

January/FebruaryNorth American Staffing 100. For the eighth year, SIA will list the 100 most influential practitioners providing workforce solutions. It’s a who’s who of the industry and those driving innovation. The issue will also feature the Staffing 100 Hall of Fame and the list of most influential staffing industry executives in Latin America. The format is redesigned: Honorees will be listed in the print publication and their profiles will appear on a companion website. This issue kicks off a reconfigured magazine, with dedicated sections focusing on compliance, technology, trends, and data, including SIA research. It’s a new look complete with a how-to emphasis.

March/AprilBest Staffing Firms to Work For. The Best Staffing Firms to Work For in both the US and UK are profiled; the Best Staffing Firms to Temp For are also listed. Our coverage of the winners — SIA’s 10th — features the top firms and what they are doing to be great places to work and why it matters. November/DecemberWomen in Staffing. The issue will feature the honorees in the Global Power 150 —Women in Staffing list. The list comprises 100 staffing industry leaders from the Americas as well as 50 more from around the globe. These women are driving innovation and change in the industry and leading large companies and divisions. The list will appear in the magazine, and honorees’ profiles will be available on a companion website.
