Maria James, Trade & Business Development Executive, Port of Townsville LimitedMaria James has been part of the Port of Townsville Limited team for 10 years, and for the past four years has managed the trade development team. Maria’s role focusses on identifying and capitalizing on trade development opportunities for the port across the mining, agriculture, fuel, automotive and renewable energy industries. A born and bred North Queenslander, Maria is passionate about the Northern Australia region and being part of its development.

Brad Foster, Queensland Regional Manager GrainCorpBrad is responsible for the management of 48 operating sites in Queensland, including 140 permanent staff and up to 500 casual staff. His role includes Operations, Maintenance and Regional Logistics managing up to 3 million tonnes of grain receivals per annum. Brad leads the retention, expansion and growth of the existing GrainCorp business.

Peter Hinsch, Director, Harbourside Coldstores Harbourside Coldstores has been providing refrigerated warehousing and logistic services to North Queensland since 1989. The coldstore has played a major role over that time in exporting North Queensland primary products operating a 4,000 Pallet coldstorage facility in Townsville. Peter has had over 40 years experience associated with the export beef industry, export seafood industry, commercial coldstorage and refrigerated transport.

Garry Scanlan, CEO, Greater Whitsunday Alliance (GW3)Garry Scanlan has over 35 years’ experience in the Australian maritime, port and resources industry. For the last 17 years, he has been working in the public and private sector facilitating the development and delivery of major projects in Queensland and the Northern Territory. Garry was a member of the Management Group of the Darwin Port Corporation for 10 years, CEO of the Gladstone Economic and Industry Development Board and on the leadership team for the Santos GLNG project in Gladstone.

Robert Cocco, CEO, RDA Mackay-Isaac-WhitsundayRobert brings a wealth of knowledge from his previous roles which include Board Directorships, CEO, executive level management and research and development management roles within the natural resources, agriculture, and research and development sectors. Robert is passionate advocate for sustainable development and growth and the role of innovation and partnerships in overcoming challenges and barriers.

Brendan Webb, General Manager Trade & Operations, NQBPBrendan has more than 20 years’ experience working across mining, engineering services, transport and logistics sectors. In his role, Mr Webb leads NQBP’s commercial division, prioiritising customer focus, efficient service and trade expansion. His operational remit covers pilotage, security, supply chain and stakeholder recognition. He and his team work to diversify trade opportunities and optimise supply chain processes.

Craig Walker, Port Strategy & Development General Manager, Port of GladstoneCraig has over 20 years of senior executive experience in the ports, rail, manufacturing, resources, infrastructure and community sectors. He is responsible for a number of Business Operations including the Marina, Port of Rockhampton and Port of Bundaberg. His responsibilities extend to Gladstone Marine Pilot Service (GMPS), Port Security, Port Strategy, Planning and Development.

Kevin Doggett, CQIP Development ManagerKevin is responsible for the construction and business development of the CQIP Industrial Estate. Prior to this role Kevin has had extensive experience of supply chains and integrated logistics having held Senior Management roles with Finemores Transport, GrainCo Pty Ltd and GrainCorp Operations Ltd. These roles included working with various Port Corporations, Road & Rail regulators and service providers along the East Coast of Australia.
