Suzuki Program Calendar - Fall 2019

Suzuki Group Classes/Chamber Ensembles:

● Fall Group Lessons/Chamber Ensembles Violin Group Class Schedule: Pre-T/Twinkler Class: Mondays 5:45 - 6:30pm Book 1-3 Repertoire/Chamber Classes: Mondays 6:00 – 7:15pm Book 4/5 Repertoire/Chamber Classes: Fridays 5:15 – 6:15pm Book 5+ Chamber Classes: Tuesdays 7:30 - 8:30pm

Cello Group Class Schedule: Pre-T/Twinkler Class: Mondays 5:45 – 6:30pm Book 1 Repertoire/Chamber Classes: Wednesdays 7:00 – 8:00pm Intermediate Chamber (at teacher recommendation): Mondays 6:30 – 7:15pm Advanced Chamber (at teacher recommendation): Tuesdays 7:30 – 8:30pm

Harp Class Schedule: Chamber class participation welcome and encouraged at teacher recommendation.

● Suzuki Parent Class During Violin Group Class (Mondays), parents will meet with one of our teachers to learn more about the Suzuki philosophy and how to support their child(ren) at home on their Suzuki journey.

● Suzuki Fall Chamber Concert Student participants are required to attend 5 out of 6 rehearsals to participate in the Fall Chamber Concert in the Fall, one of which must be October 21.

Suzuki Recitals: Saturday, November 23rd at Park Road Baptist Church (3900 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28209).

● Solo recitals are open to all Suzuki students with instructor approval. ● Recitals at 9:00 AM, 10:30 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:30 PM, 3:00PM.

Suzuki Graduation Ceremony and Play In

● Holiday Group Class In the Holiday Group Class, we will learn seasonal music to perform at the Graduation Ceremony and Play-In!

● Graduation Ceremony and Play In All students participate in this fun group performance! We begin by recognizing Suzuki Book Graduates in a Graduation Ceremony followed by a Suzuki Play-In. Working

backwards through the repertoire, everyone joins in on the pieces they know until everyone is onstage for our finale! All instruments welcome!
