Lieutenant Governor Susan Bysiewicz Office of the Lt. Governor 210 Capitol Ave, Hartford CT 06106 Dear Lieutenant Governor Bysiewicz: Members of the Connecticut State Employees Campaign Committee join me in sharing the final report for 2019, highlighting results and achievements during the employee campaign. We are pleased to announce that through the generosity of state employees and retirees $551,054 was raised to benefit hundreds of charitable organizations. Members of America’s Best Charities, America’s Charities, Community Health Charities, Connecticut United Ways, EarthShare of New England, Global Impact, and Neighbor to Nation extend their gratitude to thousands of state employees who supported the important work of charitable organizations serving our most vulnerable population. On behalf of the Connecticut State Employees Campaign Committee, thank you for serving as the 2019 Statewide Campaign Chair. It is because of your direct involvement, encouragement and communication that the campaign was successful in reaching our state employees. We like to thank you for making personal calls to all commissioners, which displayed support from leadership across the board. We are extremely grateful to the 6 loaned employees and 125 coordinators who shared their support in the campaign by assisting campaign staff in delivering materials in the communities where they worked and raising awareness about the campaign. In addition, we would like to acknowledge the support received from the Office of the Comptroller, as well as other Constitutional Officers, Commissioners, and other state agency leaders for their commitment to the 2019 Connecticut State Employees Giving Campaign. Lieutenant Governor Bysiewicz, please accept our heartfelt thank you for your commitment to the campaign. Sincerely, Timothy Newton
