The 2019 Community Wealth Building Accelerator is a unique business advancementprogram for existing minority-owned small businesses seeking to boost profitability,
acquire real estate for retail locations, learn about alternative economic models, and buildwealth for themselves and their communities.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We seek businesses that meet the following criteria:
Can provide proof of City of Atlanta up-to-date business license by program acceptance date Can provide documentation that their products or services are beyond the ‘ideation’ stage. Products/servicesshould currently be or have been available in the market and earned revenue over the last 2 years. Genuine interest in opening a brick and mortar location in or near City of Atlanta in the next 0-2 years.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
One 2-3 hour class/week: topics include financial projections, operations management, marketing etc.Back-office resources: access to accountants, HR services, and legal supportAccess to mentors and peer coaches Personal development resources such as personal finance coaching and leadership workshopsWorkshops on commercial real estate purchasing, leasing, and managementWorkshops on alternative economic models such as cooperatives, alternative capital raising strategies, etc.
