Please inform the office of the information you would like printed in the bulletin. 2019 Spirit Dinner/Auction - Spring Gala - Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Flushing Valley Country Club. We would like everyone to participate in some way as this is the school’s major fundraiser for the year. Last year $20,000 was raised for the School Improvement Fund! The School Improvement Fund is designated again, specifically playground upgrades. There are many ways you can help - get the word out to your friends and family, secure donations for the live and silent auctions, ask a business for corporate sponsorship or ad to help offset our costs, attend the dinner / auction and invite your friends and family. Donation letters and forms are available in the hallway. Tickets are on sale in the hallway. Get them at $45 each by February 11, $50 by March 1. We are accepting donations of new or handmade items for the silent and live auction. Our committee is small so we really appreciate help getting in donations . Items like restaurant gift certificates usually go for their value at the auction. Please take some donor forms and ask for a donation when you visit a business. The deadline to submit items is March 1 . Any items (donor forms) brought in after that date will not be included in the program. Our School Collects Box Tops for Education and Bueche’s Receipts - You may turn them into the office or put them in the slot next to the drinking fountain in the narthex. Life Quote for Sunday, February 3: We have the privilege of participating in divine love. It never just stands by (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). The heavenly love our Savior works in us steps in, especially when conditions become predicaments. This love beholds and brings out an individual’s infinite value no matter what other pressures obscure it (Jeremiah 1:5, Luke 4:33). As We Gather

“I knew you, I consecrated you, I appointed you,” the Lord said to Jeremiah. By His Word the Lord called young Jeremiah to be a prophet, even though Jeremiah did not think he was capable. The Lord provided what Jeremiah lacked, touching Jeremiah’s mouth and promising to be with him to deliver him. When we gather for worship, God’s Word comes to us.
