Fripp Island ClubAs a Fripp Island Golf and Beach Resort or Club member guest you are automatically a guest of The Fripp Island Club for the length of your stay!

Your Club Guest Card is magnetically encoded and entitles you access to all Club amenities. We simply ask that you and every person in your group age 13 and older carry a Club Guest Card and show it whenever you use the facilities.

Since our amenities are operated for the exclusive enjoyment of Fripp Island Club members and Club Guest Card carrying guests, our staff members are instructed to turn away individuals without cards.

Please carry your card to avoid any inconvenience. The Club Guest Card is your key to all of the Island’s fun.

Should you need to have your card re-magnetized or have any questions about your Club cards, please stop by or call the Club Office at 843-838-1528.

Hey Kids! Are you interested in meeting new friends and going on fun adventures? Have your parents sign you up for Camp Fripp! Join the Activity Center Staff Monday through Friday at the Creek House beginning at 9:00 AM. Camp reservations must be made by 8:30 am daily. Spaces are limited, so call 843-838-1516 to make your reservations early. Camp Fripp Cancellation Policy requires a call by 8:30am the morning of. All children must be bathroom independent. No pull ups please. Many of our activities take place outdoors, so please make sure your children are prepared for the elements. Camp Hours• 3-4 year-olds: 9am-12pm Mon-Wed & Fri 9am-1pm Thursday • Snack provided • 5-12 year-olds: 9am-2pm Mon-Wed & Fri 9am-1pm Thursday • Snack & lunch provided • Please bring a towel and bathing suit to each day of camp as they will go swimming after lunch. *Must be able to swim without any assistance, including floaties.Camp Cost• 3-12 year-olds: 9am-12pm - $45/day or $180/wk • 5-12 year-olds: 9am-2pm - $80/day or $320/wk• Dolphin Cruise: $65Children must be picked up promptly at 12:00 PM for 3-4 year olds or 2:00 PM for 5-12 year olds. Thursday Dolphin CruiseTake an adventure on the Fripper II, and go out and collect shells on Bull Point! How many sea shells will you find? You might even see some Fripp dolphins! (Lunch will be provided on the boat.)

Friday Nature DayGet outside and explore the natural beauty of Fripp! Learn about the plants and animals that call Fripp Island, and even meet some of the Activity Center’s favorite critters!

Camp Fripp

Nestled in the trees near the Cabana Club, our Activity & Nature Center offers a variety of programming and an up close (and sometimes hands on) look at some of the inhabitants of Fripp Island. Feel free to stop in and meet Rusty the corn snake, or Archie, our baby alligator or just to ask questions about the wildlife here.

Fripp Island Turtle ConservationOur staff naturalists work with both the Fripp Island Turtle Patrol and the local Audubon Club to help preserve the truly amazing creatures that call Fripp home. We love to educate visitors about these wonderful creatures so drop by and let us tell you all about them and the efforts being used to conserve them for future generations.

Fripp is a Certified Wildlife Habitat and an Audubon Important Area. A variety of birds use our beaches, maritime forest, golf courses, ponds and marshes. This walking tour departs from the Activity Center. Beginners to expert birders are welcome!

Canvas & Cabernet $40/person Tuesday 7-9pm

Create your own masterpiece while enjoying a glass of wine or beer. A local artist will guide you through painting basics and creating your own canvas to take home. No previous painting experience necessary!

Learn about the east coast’s coolest crustacean, the blue crab! Learn the life cycle & ecological importance of these edible crabs as we bait our baskets and wait for them to fall in to our trap. Catch and release only.

Creature Feature Thursday 11am-Noon

Join us each week when we’ll highlight a different creature found in the wild. Our naturalist staff will educate and inform you about this creature and provide hands on activities too. Meet in the Creek House to join the fun.

Dine ‘n Dive MOVIE IS FREE Tuesday 8:30-10pm

Bring your towel and swimsuit to Cabana Club pool to enjoy a family friendly movie. Cabana Club Grill will be open until 9pm so enjoy a late dinner with the movie.

Fripp is home to a ton of alligators! First we’ll introduce you to our newest baby alligators, Savannah and Veranda. Then our naturalists will take you looking for these prehistoric predators in some of our golf course ponds. As we watch for gators, you’ll learn all about our most awesome predator!

Herpetology 101 $12/person Tuesday 8-9am

Get familiar with some of the Activity Center’s resident reptiles before we head out to find some wild critters. We will discuss habitats, diets, anatomy, and more. We will check our humane traps for snakes, turtles, lizards, frogs, and anything else! Closed-toed shoes are required.

Karaoke FREE Wednesday 7pm-1am (10:30pm-1am Over 21 only)

Sing your heart out at Ocean View at the Beach Club or just come by to enjoy the fun! Kids welcome until 10:30pm.

The best way to experience the winding tidal creeks behind Fripp is by kayak. Share a tandem kayak with a buddy or paddle yourself in a single kayak. We will watch for eagles and ospreys soaring overhead, dolphins splashing on the shore line and so much more! Please call ahead to reserve your spots. Tour is 2 hours and will depart from the Marina boat ramp. *Call for age restrictions.

Meet the Animals FREE Every Day! Stop by anytime

Come learn about all of our animals in the Activity Center. Naturalists will handle and talk about our snakes, baby alligator, turtles & more.

Nature Cruise $65 (10 & up) / $45 (4-9) Tuesday 2-5pm Wednesday 10am-1pm

Board the Fripper II for a tour of the tidal creeks and islands around Fripp. Watch for dolphins and learn about the creatures of the marsh. We will stop to beach comb at Bull Point on Caper’s Island, so bring along a re-useable bag for the shells you find and learn about. Reservations are required - please call ahead to book.

Nature of the Night $12/person Friday 8:30-9:30pm

Join our naturalists on the search for animal night life like bats, night hawks, owls, spiders, bugs and frogs! Some flashlights are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Closed-toed shoes are required. Reservations are required - please call ahead to book.

Ocean Seining $12/person Monday 1-2pm Wednesday 8-9am

Join our naturalists on the beach to discover what’s under the waves! We’ll pull our net through the water and show you the many species that swim off our shore. If you want to try it out, plan on getting wet! This program is catch and release only. Meet at the Activity Center.

Oh, Deer FREE Monday 5-5:30pm

Join our Naturalists to learn all about the deer that inhabit Fripp Island. Open to everyone - no guest cards required.

Poolside Bingo $1/card or $5 hour Monday & Friday 3-4pm

Pritchard’s Canoe Trip $50/person Monday & Wednesday Based on Low Tide

Ever wanted to explore that mysterious island across from Wardle’s Landing? The only way to get there safely is by boat, so join us for a quick canoe trip across Skull Inlet and walk the beach of this abandoned, uninhabited island for some of the best shells!

Sunset Pool Party Party FREE / Food & Drinks available for purchase

Tuesday 6-8:30pmCelebrate being on vacation and watch the sun set from the best spot on the island at Cabana Club. We’ll have hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill, with pool games and music.

The marsh is arguably the best place around Fripp to watch the sun set. We will look for and discuss the plants and many animals of the salt marsh. Tour departs from the Marina boat ramp.

Teen Kayaking $35/person Wednesday 6-7:30pm

Calling all teens. Head out with a naturalist to learn about the wonder of our coastal wetlands and have a lot of fun while you’re at it. Reservations required. *Meet at the Marina with a parent to sign your waiver and pay.

Teen Movie Night $10/person Friday 9-11pm

Teens! Head over to the Olympic Pool for a fun night of swimming and a movie with a $5 Food Court coupon.

Teen Paint & Pizza $30/person Friday 11am-1pm

Create your own masterpiece, led by a local artist/intern. Great way to meet other teens and enjoy a painting class too (and of course eat pizza)! Meet in Savannah’s over Ocean Creek, reservatons required.

Meet us at the Olympic Pool and hang out by the pool for music and fun. Unlimited non-alcoholic beverages.

Turtle Walk $12/person Thursday 8-9am

Fripp Island’s beach is an important nesting area for endangered sea turtles. Every summer dozens of loggerhead sea turtles crawl onto our beach at night and lay hundreds of eggs. Join our naturalists for a beach walk to check out some of the nests and to learn everything there is about our awesome sea turtles!

Fripp Island offers two championship golf courses. Practice facilities are located at both courses and include a driving range, chipping area, practice bunker and putting green. Each course also offers a variety of tournaments and other special events throughout the year. Contact the pro shops for tournament sign-ups and schedules.

Ocean Point Golf Links Ocean Point was designed by George W. Cobb and is a seaside masterpiece with dramatic views of the Atlantic. The Atlantic Ocean and its constant breezes affect the look, feel and play of almost every hole. 843-838-1521

Ocean Creek Golf Course Ocean Creek is PGA Champion Davis Love III’s first signature course. Four distinct rolling dune lines provide major design elements with ridges climbing as high as 15 feet as they corkscrew across the fairways. Salt marshes and native wetlands also play a key role in the playability and character of Ocean Creek. 843-838-1576

Golf Instruction & Private Lessons Our experienced staff of PGA professionals and apprentices offers a wide range of instructional programs for all ages as well as private lessons that run for 30-40 minutes at either course. Sailfish, mahi-mahi, barracuda, kingfish, marlin, wahoo, grouper and snapper are plentiful. Our rentals are the best way to get around and explore the island. Rentals are available when you present your Club Guest Card at Island Rentals, which is open daily 8am until 6pm. Cabana Club Complex Our favorite family location, Cabana Club is on the south end of the island. Cabana is home to an oval pool (heated seasonally), lagoon pool with misting cave and a kids pool. Willie’s Wet Bar, Cabana Club Restaurant and Veranda Beach Salon are also in the complex. The Marina PoolLocated at our marina complex, this pool offers a chance to take a dip while enjoying the scenery. Pool hours are 10am to 8pm (12-2pm Camp Fripp only).Olympic Pool Located at the center of the island, near the Beach Club, this pool is just steps away from the beach and includes a baby pool, and lap swims from 8am-9am.Adult Pool Also located at the center of the island in the Beach Club Complex, the Adult Pool is for patrons 21 years of age and older. Beach Access The Fripp Island Property Owners Association (FIPOA) maintains beach access trails. Each access is marked with a wooden sign and offers a path through the dunes.
