  • GRACE’S STORY

“At NC4M we work together in teams, which means we can learn from each other and our team spirit is really good.

Recently I was part of the team involved with the 2015 Walter Hayes Trophy. I was the chief team maker and was responsible for a variety of elements such as bodywork, tools and the pit board.

I’ve been volunteering in my own time and with help from the tutors, I’ve secured an apprenticeship with Lanan Racing. The National College for Motorsport is a great way to get into the motorsport industry.”

  • CALLUM’S STORY

“Motorsport has been a big passion of mine for a long time. As a child I was heavily involved in rallying. I used to help out at the weekends fixing things and changing tyres. It was a natural route for me to want to enter the industry and when I found out about The National College for Motorsport, I knew I had to apply.

This year I have already been involved with lots of projects and learnt new skills. I was picked for the team that worked on The Walter Hayes Trophy 2015. This was an exciting and phenomenal opportunity to work trackside at Silverstone and work on a race car. “
