Current enrollment is approximately 1310 and features a dynamic international program which hosts, supports and educates 80 international students from 12 countries. The King’s Academy, situated on a 60-acre campus, is located in the heart of Palm Beach County within suburban West Palm Beach, Florida. The graduates of the past 48 years reflect The King’s Academy’s reputation for producing quality students who are successful in colleges, universities, and in the community at large. The King’s Academy’s high academic and spiritual standards aid in the growth of a student’s spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical development. Accreditation & Memberships The King’s Academy is fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International, Cognia, and the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools. Memberships are held with the College Board, the National Association of College Admissions Counseling (NACAC), the Southern Association of College Admission Counseling (SACAC), and the North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals (NACCAP). Watford Mission Statement The King’s Academy exists to assist the home and church in their endeavor to “train up a child in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6). Its mission is to share salvation through Jesus Christ and graduate Christian leaders who seek to impact their world for the King of kings through academic excellence and spiritual vitality. The King’s Academy Academic Program Classes meet five times a week for a total of 37 weeks per school year. The school day consists of seven periods with 244 minutes of class time per class per week. Students are required to take a minimum of 7 classes per day. Quality PointsStudents enrolled in rigorous courses are awarded additional quality points. These additional points are called “weighted” points. One additional quality point is earned for students who take AP and DE courses. Honors courses receive an additional .5 quality point added to the GPA. RankingOur students have a long history of excellence in academic pursuits and are only ranked for the purpose of selecting Valedictorian and Salutatorian. We do not believe that ranking students provides a valid measure of student achievement, and therefore we do not publish class rank as part of the college admission process.
