Pedestals provide elevation to a RollingPlanter. By elevating the planter, the planter is ergonomically accessible for many who are physically challenged. The heights are designed for walkers and wheel chairs access, normally, 32” in height. Custom heights can also be ordered for taller or shorter individuals. There is no pedestal option for the CAFE series, and it is not recommended for the PU series since they are already at 32” tall. Pedestals are fully assembled and Lift/Drop under the planter to complete. Must be shipped LTL Freight.

There is a $700 minimum order on all planters that are shipped LTL.*** Schools, hospitals, hotels, residents and other limited access areas incur higher shipping rates. Weights provided on soil/gravel requirement sheet should be reviewed for potential rooftop, balcony and deck instal-lations. Prior to any rooftop, balcony or deck installation, one should consult an architect or engineer to assure the structural load capacities will support both planters and people at the same time (live load).

** Fixed position planters with the same above designs, options and heights are available. Fixed position planters come with tall wooden sleds and plastic pads. The pads allow the planters to stay off the ground and if necessary, be moved with a lifting devices, such as a forklift or a pallet jack. They are priced the same as the mobile version.

***LTL: Less Than Truckload. It is the consolidation and shipment of larger commodities that can not be shipped by small package delivery companies such as UPS or the Post Office. At the same time these commodities can not fill a 48 foot tractor truck trailer. All items are fastened on pallets and shipped on tractor trailer trucks. Shipping companies can restrict delivery to residential and limited accessible locations. It is suggested to arrange delivery to a store, shop, restaurant or stand alone commercial location.

Most planters can be made larger with the addition of custom refinements.

SELF WATERING SUBTERRANEAN RESERVOIR OPTION The self watering option is an contained undersurface porous cavity. The cavity is created to allow water to be held in a reservoir. The natural capillary action of the soil delivers water into the growing medium keeping your planters consis-tently moist. An over flow drain is on the bottom of planter and two filling accesses are on top of box. One of the ac-cesses is used for a water measuring mechanism. Planters over 7.5’ boxes have multiple cavities units. Minor Assembly Required.

AQUAPONIC SOLUTION OPTION Any planter can be made into a pond for fish, aquatic plants and other aquatic life. In order to create this environment, a rubber stopper is required to plug each drain holes. RollingPlanter can offer a floating raft system that allows for plants roots hang down and to thrive off the mineral rich water below.
