CONNECTING
Annual Report2014–2015
“By connecting and being part of a community with a shared vision and goals, we can create great things.”
— DAVID J. GREER
A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENTAND THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
it has often been said that connecting to others is as important to our well-being as water and air, making us stronger and happier than we could hope to be on our own. JCS has long understood that connections are vital to providing individuals and families with the services, resources and information that enhance their lives and make our community stronger.
Whether we are connecting with other organizations to provide life sustaining services or connecting job seekers with local employers or connecting Facebook followers with useful information that helps them solve life’s puzzles, it is the collaboration, communication and coordination with others that helps us address our community’s needs and work each and every day to fulll our mission, vision and values.
We want to thank e Associated, our donors, Board Members, lay leaders, sta members, partners and volunteers for your commitment to ensuring that JCS is able to provide the guidance and support that helps adults, children and elders face life’s challenges. By joining together, by connecting, we are able to continue working toward achieving our vision of a community in which every person is able to achieve his or her highest quality of life and well-being.
Sincerely,
Harriet Bergpresident
