Currently, over 1700 courses are available. Over 90,000 courses are projected to be completed in VTA in 2017, which represents a 25% increase in completed courses over 2016. In addition to the many courses developed exclu- sively for Virtuoso, the Richardson Consultative Sales Program classes are also available in VTA. CONSUMER WEBINARSVirtuoso joins with preferred partners to offer consumer-focused webinars for agency clients and potential clients. Consumer webi-nars offer preferred partners the opportunity to present product information to consumers in an engaging and interactive way. The goal is to provide a platform for agencies to host consumer events and increase agency sales and preferred partner bookings.

LEARNING ENGAGEMENT ADVISOR PROGRAM (LEAP)LEAP is a year-long customized training and engagement program available exclusively to Virtuoso advisors. The LEAP program typically includes one or more 15-20 minute video modules, a series of live educational webinars showcasing exclusive travel experi-ences, plus interviews with “Subject Matter Experts.” Available through the Virtuoso Travel Academy, the e-learning modules allow Virtuoso advisors quick and efficient access with the ability to stop, scroll back or return to the module at any time. LEAP webinars utilize different engaging formats, such as slide show-based presentations, audience participation with live polling questions, or an “interview” style format with a well-seasoned Virtuoso member. Through LEAP, advisors can increase sales through expanded knowl-edge of destinations and preferred partners.

STUDY TOURSStudy Tours immerse Virtuoso advisors in specific destinations. The structured, small group tours typically include: multiple site in-spections; several types of accommodations; various destination activities; culture immersion, and knowledge about unique areas of interest. We encourage and support partners in following up with attendees to drive increased revenue and facilitate group discus-sion on how to achieve specific sales targets. This educational component differentiates Virtuoso Study Tours from a traditional fa-miliarization trip. In 2017, 32 Study Tours will be offered exclusively to Virtuoso advisors.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTARIESDesigned to showcase a preferred partner or destination to Virtuoso advisors, 20-minute Travel Documentaries are filmed on loca-tion, and focus on key information about a destination or preferred partner. The video details product specifics (i.e., type of transpor-tation, shore excursions, size of accommodations) and offers sales techniques about product benefits. Travel Documentaries are available in the Virtuoso Travel Academy around the clock for on-demand viewing.

VIRTUOSO’S ACTIVE AND SPECIALTY TRAVEL (VAST)VAST is a community of peers: Virtuoso advisors and preferred partners committed to creating relationships with their clients to support the belief that “The World is VAST. Go Explore!” Throughout the year, the VAST community stays committed to the goal of making exceptional travel experiences available to their clients. Training is dedicated to the nuances of VAST preferred partner ben-efits and sessions about VAST destinations and experiences. This community gives back with the annual VAST Abundance contribu-tion to help make a positive global impact. VAST membership requires a fee that includes exclusive benefits and incentives, and provides members the opportunity to increase their sales with access to over 45 Virtuoso preferred partners.

VIRTUOSO CERTIFIED TRAVEL ADVISOR (VCTA) 5-DAY TRAINING CLASSThe VCTA course provides new advisors the opportunity to establish a solid career path in the luxury travel market segment. Through a comprehensive curriculum designed to build, apply, and reinforce knowledge, VCTA strategically develops new talent. Advisors finish the course with enthusiasm, motivation, and a clear competitive edge for personal and professional success to ben-efit their agency and the Virtuoso network. VCTA includes 10 hours of coursework prior to training and six months of follow-up coaching and personal communication.

DEEP DIVESLooking for a way to kick-start your organization? With a deep-dive workshop on Professional Travel Advising, this course will explore organizational change – and why change can be difficult to implement. The workshop includes relevant topics including how to posi-tion professional fees, what determines value to your clients, the Virtuoso Collaborative Travel Planning Process, managing a profit-able client portfolio, and more.

Deep Dives offer an away-from-the-office setting to:
