AGA'sNextLevelLeadershipWomen’sProgramisasix-monthprogramthatcomplementscompanyinitiativesandprovidesaleadershipdevelopmentopportunityforwomen.TheAGAScholarshipProgram,whichstartedin2014,partnerswith27collegesandtechnicalschoolstoprovide$1millioninfundingforstudentsfocusedonfieldsrelatedtoenergy.Overafive-yearperiodmorethan200scholarshipswillbeawarded.

In2006,AGAhelpedformtheCenterforEnergyWorkforceDevelopment,anon-profitconsortiumofelectric,naturalgas&nuclearutilities&theirassociationsthatdevelopssolutionstotheworkforceshortageintheutilityindustry.

Our Industry Challenge: Design an OQ Process to enhance the level of Integrity in all aspects of OQ, which ultimately provides for credible and valid Qualifications of each identified task’s Common Core Competencies.

Naturalgaspipelines,whichspanall50stateswithdiversegeographicandoperatingconditions.Naturalgasutilitiesimplementsecurityprogramsandactivelyengageinvoluntaryactionstohelpenhancesecurity.AGAmembersareimplementingtheTransportationSecurityAdministration(TSA)PipelineSecurityGuidelinesaswellasutilizingavailablesecuritystandards,models,guidelinesandinformationsharingresources.

AGAdevelopedtheDownstreamNaturalGasInformationSharingandAnalysisCenter(DNG-ISAC)asanonlineplatformforsharingcyberandphysicalthreatintelligenceandtoolstohelpfurtherenhancethesecurityofnaturalgasutilities.Ithelpstheindustryshareandaccesstimely,accurateandrelevantthreatinformation.

AllAGAmembercompanieshaveaccesstotheDNG-ISACasdomembersoftheInterstateNaturalGasAssociationofAmerica,CanadianGasAssociation,andAmericanPublicGasAssociation–furtherstrengtheningoursecurity.
