Onsite Brand Activations that EngageStyle lounges connected our 850 influential guests with Inspiration Awards sponsors.

Coach. The presenting sponsor welcomed guests into its Coach 1941 Ready to Wear lounge to view the collection, enter to win a Coach 1941 Rogue handbag, and enjoy the GIF photo booth!

Dermstore. Guests consulted with glow by Dermstore experts, discovered skin care regimens and tested out products before entering to win a full regimen by sharing what makes them #glowwithin!

SIX:02. Guests “stepped up” by receiving a complimentary pair of Adidas sneakers and adding their #OnOurWay statement to the interactive photo backdrop.

Step Up. A balloon installation invited guests to add their own #OnOurWay mantras after chatting with Step Up teens.

Inspiration Awards 2017 raised $425,000 to fund mentorship programs that propel girls to fulfill their potential by empowering them to become confident, college-bound, career-focused, and ready to join the next generation of professional women. These critical funds are fueling Step Up’s growth in Los Angeles to expand into 10 partner high schools and reach over 700 teens during the 2017-18 school year.

Teens with a mentor are 55% more likely to enroll in college.

Not only has Step Up been there for

us emotionally, but it provided us with

so many opportunities throughout

the years to meet many and I mean

MANY successful women from various

cultures and backgrounds. I am no

longer that reserved, friendless and

hesitant girl I was back in 9th grade

who failed classes and couldn’t express

herself. I now stand before you a brave,

powerful, and confident risk taker on

my way to amazing things.

Our Platinum+ sponsors made a splash during the Inspiration Awards program through on-stage integrations.

Coach’s Margaret Coady introduced teen honoree, Kimberly, from Step Up’s Class of 2017.

Dermstore enlisted the help of January Jones to celebrate the Step Up Class of 2017 and announce where each graduate will attend college in the fall.

American Airlines shared a video tribute to Step Up alumnae, highlighting where their college and career journeys have taken them.

Some of our favorite ideas from 2017 Inspiration Awards sponsors…

• offering to match any donations made by employees during the event

• inviting employees to volunteer at Inspiration Awards (gift bag stuffing, check-in, etc.)

• executives meeting + greeting influential guests in their style lounge

• blogging about the event + Step Up partnership on the brand’s blog

• inviting members of the media + influential bloggers/celebrities to sit at the company table

• bringing a social media specialist to capture the brand’s participation at the event for its own social channels

• holding an essay contest for employees to determine who has the chance to attend the event and sit at the company table
