OverviewThis year’s conference brings together professionals from diverse fields bringing information on wide-ranging topics relevant to quality patient centered care and critical nursing practice. The conference will cover this variety of topics via plenary and concurrent sessions, and poster sessions related to acute and critical care practice and trends in healthcare. We will have the opportunity to be inspired by the innovative and engaging presenters to continue our purposeful development of effective healthcare and to drive changes that matter for optimal patient and family outcomes.

and nursing teams. • Understand how exploring various creative strategies can provide room

for developing new procedures in surgery for better patient outcomes.• Understand the impact of animal assisted interventions on the social

and emotional well-being of patients.• Be better able to provide effective care to older patients. • Development of new knowledge and awareness of updates in the

diagnosis and treatment of heart failure.• Incorporate strategies to increase resilience in your healthcare

practice. • Understand the complexity of the disease of addiction and adapting
