Engenia herbicide is now a Restricted Use Pesticide (RUP) Only Certified Applicators, and those

operating under their guidance, may purchase and apply Engenia herbicide



Record keeping of all applications is required

Keep records for two years

Must be generated within 14 days of application

Must be made available upon request to state pesticide control officials, USDA, and EPA

All required records per 7 CFR Part 110

Full record keeping requirements are detailed on the label

Temperature inversions are characterized by increasing temperatures with altitude• Common on nights with limited cloud cover

and light-to-no wind • Begin to form before the sun sets and often

continue into the morning before surface warming

• Presence can be indicated by ground fog, smoke not rising, dust hanging over a road, or presence of dew or frost

Small spray droplets remain suspended in the cool inversion layer and can move horizontally off-target

Sprayer Cleanout Requirements Spray equipment must be thoroughly cleaned before and

after application of Engenia herbicide Document that required cleanout procedures were followed
