NewAERO (MVG in Colombia) is an
exclusive supplier of OilZapper. OilZapper is a bacterial consortium
that bio-remediates and degrades crude oil
and oily sludge contaminated soil. It is delivered in 50 lb bags with shelf life of about
3 months. It was invented by our
collaborative partner and original Glory
investor, TERI (The Energy Research
Institute) of India.
KT
Oilivorus-A
OILZAPPER/OILIVOROUS-SOilzapper/Oilivorous-S contains five natural occurring bacterial species.
Oilzapper/Oilivorous-S bacteria is non pathogenic to any living thing.
In nature Oilzapper/Oilivorous-S can survive on oily sludge crude oil and total petroleum hydrocarbon. Once oily sludge (Total petroleum hydrocarbon) is biodegraded these microbes died and their population decreased.
The self life of these microbes (during storage) at 4ºC is six months, at 30ºC two months, at 42ºC 20 days, at 45ºC seven days.

Costing info on providing OilZapper services:
1.) OilZapper material at 1% of total weight of contaminated soil to be treated.2.) OilZapper cost per lb = $9.79/lb3.) Service charge for small project = $8,8004.) Equipment rentals estimate(backhoe, tilling...etc.) = $6,000
So a project that has a 50' X 50' X 1' area of soil that is contaminated:
1.) Till the soil in place2.) Treat with oil zapper and nutrients3.) Repeat nutrient treatment periodically4.) Total process takes about 3 months for oil contaminated soil
Costs:
OilZapper (1875 lbs) $18,356.25Service Charge 8,800.00Equipment rental TBDTotal $27,156.25 (plus equipment rental, if any)
