HOW WE WORKWe understand how much planning, time and passion goes into a wedding day - regardless of what kinda shindig you’re throwing - and that every moment that you’re hoping for has been thought about over so many late night glasses of wine. This stuff is important and capturing it all is what we’ve devoted ourselves to.

Over the last few years we’ve been alongside hundreds of couples as they’ve gone on this wild journey of love and we’ve seen some remarkable things, but it always comes back to warm and genuine people being surrounded by the brilliant people who got them this far. And that’s really all there is to it - getting the people you love alongside you in a place that feels right and then hold on for the ride of your life… and we’ll be right there with you from start to finish. It’s as simple as that.

We’re for you, we’re advocates for all the crazy stories playing out through the day, we’re all about seeing it through your eyes, and we’re all about being your eyes when you’re not around to see the wonderful madness playing out. So don’t worry about the weather, last-minute changes, family melt-downs, stressed out mums, power cuts and things running late, it’ll all be okay - we’re on your side.

So how do we work? By starting the day right there with you, by staying right alongside you as it all plays out, and by finishing the day hugging on the dance floor, or jumping in the pool, or helping carry someone’s Aunt through the mud, or shining our car headlights through the fog to show you the front door of your honeymoon cabin. Whatever happens, we’ll be right there at your side, because love is too amazing to even miss a moment.

• Either Simon or Sophia as your principle photographer

• Approx 800-1000 high resolution retouched images provided in colour and select black & white versions as well as low resolution files for web

• Location scouting

• Final images provided in an online gallery as well as on a USB key for archiving

• Ten 6”x4” prints

A big wedding isn’t for everyone so gathering a few of your friends for a mountain top ceremony, sneaking off to City Hall or a secret trip to Paris might just be your jam. Tell us what your scheming and we can figure out a package to suit. We can even be your legal witnesses if it’s just the two of you!

ENGAGEMENT SHOOT

If your wedding day, in musical terms, is like (say) Glastonbury or Coachella (a wonderful but also very carefully planned event) then an engagement shoot is kinda like going to see a show by your new favorite band at your local pub - things get wild, no-one knows exactly what’s gonna happen, but you’re in one of your favorite places so it’s gonna be all good.

This is all about capturing your everyday romance in the places that’re precious to you, on a timeline that’s only got you and your dearest involved. It means we can go to a crazy location that means the world to you (even if it’s a 2 hour drive away), it means not caring if you fall in the ocean and get soaked to the bone, it means sneaking into that restaurant where you guys had your first date and stealing the cutlery… whatever it is, it’s all of the things that celebrate your love and what got you this far!

It’s also a great way to warm up to the idea of being photographed before your wedding day. In short, we’ll take you to a couple of locations that are special to you both, and you’ll get around 100 retouched shots.

TRAVEL

WE GET AROUND

We’re based in Auckland, New Zealand but we travel all over the world to shoot. Often we’ll be working out of a particular place for a part of the year, like Europe in the northern summer, NZ & Australia in the southern summer so travel costs don’t always mean transporting us halfway around the world! Ask us for our travel schedule and we can give you a quote to suit your date and location.

WHAT WILL I GET?

Award-winning designer Mat Bogust of Think Packaging created our packaging which won the Best Design Award 2017. This compact package which you can store on your book shelf will include all your files in high-resolution on USB drive as well as some prints from your wedding day and a lil booklet of our work.

GETTING STUFF MADE

We’re huge fans of printed photographs and we feel strongly about images and memories being at their best when you can hold them, but we also know that it can be a daunting process to find the right thing for you and then to actually get it made well. So rather than provide an automatic ‘product’ made from your photographs, we’d much rather help you find something that’s the right individual expression of your memories for you.

We use Pixieset Online Galleries as a great platform for sharing your photos digitally with friends and family across a variety of social media.

Beyond that we can help you navigate the many great printing options available; including large gallery format framed prints, stand-alone digital albums, premium hard-bound albums from MomentoPro, lower budget books by Artifact Uprising, and even Stop-Motion style flip-books.
