As part of Hempel, we continuously review all our operations to minimise waste and reduce our carbon footprint, with ambitious targets for electricity consumption (-5%) and waste to landfill (-5%) in 2019, whilst maintaining a strong emphasis on Safety Excellence throughout the business.

From the Research and Development side we continue to collaborate with suppliers, universities and partners to develop a pipeline of innovative products and solutions that have a positive environmental impact.

I hope you enjoy reading about our progress in our latest report and if you have any questions or suggestions please feel free to contact either myself or the team.

2018 was a great year for Crown Paints and we have taken great steps in our sustainability efforts across all areas of the business. We take this opportunity to look back over our successes of the last year, examine where we have met and, in some cases, exceeded our targets as well as look ahead to 2019 and the areas that require more attention.2018 saw us celebrate the 10th anniversary of our earthbalance® scheme, which was launched in 2008 and sets out our company’s commitment to being more sustainable, less wasteful as well as helping our customers and staff make responsible decisions. The earthbalance® scheme touches on all aspects of our business, from manufacturing to packaging and applies to all staff and operations at our two manufacturing plants, in both Darwen and Hull, as well as our ever-growing network of more than 150 Crown Decorating Centres.

We have many positives to report from 2018, which I hope you will find of interest. Our new targets for the year have now been set and I am hopeful that we can work together to ensure that by this time next year they are realised.

Thank you for taking the time to read the 2018 sustainability report. There are many positives to report from 2018 and some great initiatives to share for 2019:

With regards to 2019, we are seeing an increased focus on sustainability and the circular economy with our customers. There is an increased emphasis on methodology and labels that calculate the environmental impact of a coating product over its full life cycle (from raw materials to its end of life) and we intend to be at the forefront of these initiatives. This ensures that our products meet the requirements and demands of our customers by constantly challenging and improving our working practices.

• Transition to the new ISO 9001:2015 in July, ahead of schedule

• Once again both Darwen and Hull were short-listed for the British Coatings Federation Coatings Care award for best in class performance in health and safety, energy consumption, waste, recycling and VOC emissions, with our Hull site taking the award

• There was a significant reduction in electricity usage of 4% against a 2017 baseline

• A Knowledge Transfer Partnership project with Lancashire University was completed in 2019 with the recommendations being adopted by the business in hopes of further reducing waste water

I would like to take this opportunity to thank and acknowledge the great work that has been carried out by Mark Lloyd and his team regarding the progress made across all initiatives in 2018.

As a world-leading supplier of trusted coating solutions, Hempel is a global company with strong values, working with customers in the protective, marine, decorative, container and yacht industries. Hempel factories, R&D centres and stock points are established in every region.

At Hempel, we conduct our business responsibly with respect for individuals and the communities where we operate.

As a company, we comply with all relevant laws and regulations in the countries where we operate. But mere compliance is not enough. So, we work actively in six main areas to improve our business.

E T H I C A L B E H AV I O U R - At Hempel, we are committed to working responsibly and ethically at all times, both in terms of how we conduct our business and the products and services we offer.

H E A LT H A N D S A F E T Y - As a company that uses chemicals, we have an increased responsibility to ensure the safety and health of our employees and customers. This responsibility is our number one priority.

E N V I R O N M E N T - We believe that our work should contribute to a better environment. Therefore, we invest in developing products that help our customers achieve their environmental targets, including reducing their impact on the climate. In addition to this, we also strive to reduce emissions and waste from our own operations.

P R O C U R E M E N T - We strive to ensure that we have an ethical, efficient supply chain at all times, and all places. We expect our suppliers to work with respect for their employees and the environment. Our aim is to work only with suppliers who share our business values.

P E O P L E - Hempel is a truly multicultural organisation, and we believe that this diversity is one of the foundations of our business success. We strive to provide all Hempel employees with opportunities for professional and personal development and give them a great place to work. We are committed to the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

C O M M U N I T Y E N G A G E M E N T - We encourage our employees to take an active role in corporate responsibility. All Hempel offices are encouraged to support causes or events that can have an impact on their local communities or the wider world. Every year, Hempel employees volunteer to join one of the education projects supported by our owner, the Hempel Foundation.

V I S I O N S & VA LU E S

Owner of The Hempel Group, JC Hempel established The Hempel Foundation as a

commercial foundation in 1948. The Foundation serves a dual purpose. Its key mandate being to provide a solid economic base for The Hempel

Group. The Foundation’s second purpose is more philanthropic and provides support for cultural,

social, humanitarian, scientific and artistic purposes around the world. The Hempel Foundation’s latest

project in West Timor is working to improve the quality of education in 12 schools, with the hope

that more than 1,200 children will be able to build a brighter future for themselves and their families.

One of the key focusses for The Hempel Foundation is to aid the education of children in need who have little access to the necessary resources, including:

HELPING CHILD LABOURERS TO PURSUE EDUCATION: More than 72 million children today do not attend school at all. A major focus for The Hempel Foundation is to remove as many children from labour and provide support for them to spend their youth in a learning environment instead.

IMPROVING LOCAL SCHOOLS: 350 million of the children who do receive an education only have access to poor quality instruction. A bad education can be almost as bad as none at all, which is why The Hempel Foundation dedicates some of the resources to improving the standard of local schools.

BUILDING NEW SCHOOLS: Lack of access to schools is one of the main barriers to many children gaining an education. As such, The Hempel Foundation aims to highlight areas where this is the case and build and continue to support new schools worldwide.

AFTER SCHOOL AND EDUCATION CLUBS FOR THOSE IN NEED: Sometimes the best way to help is to provide after school and education clubs. This can supplement and help to improve the education they already receive or provide the opportunity to learn for those who can’t do so within conventional times and institutions.

H E A LT H & S A F E T YIn 2018, our incident total reporting rate dropped by 17% against the previous year’s reporting rate, which we have attributed to the increased awareness throughout the business due to our continued focus of our Safety Excellence Programme. Unfortunately, two manual handling related incidents within our manufacturing areas led to an increase of 31% for our incident frequency rate.

T H E E M P LOY E E E N G AG E M E N T S U R V E YAt Crown Paints we passionately believe that engaged and motivated employees are crucial to our success and in 2018 we conducted our third annual Employee Engagement Survey.

This is one of the many ways we seek to give our highly loyal and dedicated employees a voice to help drive future improvements through the business and create an even better place to work.

The survey is carried out in partnership with Ennova, who conduct the survey and analyse the resulting data to ensure independence and anonymity were upheld.

We had a brilliant response rate of 88% and our overall satisfaction and motivation score was 71, which is an increase of +8 since 2017 and now level with The Hempel group score. Whilst the positive results are encouraging, we need to ensure that we are continually seeking to improve upon this.

All managers with over five direct reports had an individual report which in turn led to an action plan. We have over 268 reports, all of which have now been discussed and posted on the online Action Pilot and are being actively progressed.

As we mentioned last year, apprentices are extremely important to us at Crown Paints. During 2018 five members of our production and Distribution Centre team began working towards a Level 3 Team Leading Apprenticeship.

The Apprenticeship will support the development of our five colleagues, who will be working alongside Blackburn College until 2020 and will lead to an ILM Diploma in Management Qualification.

The Apprenticeship is fully funded through the Apprenticeship Levy Scheme.

Recycled more than

800 tonnes of paint cans

The earthbalance® scheme touches on all aspects of the business, from manufacturing to packaging and applies to staff and operations at our two manufacturing plants in Darwen and Hull, as well as our network of more than 150 Crown Decorating Centres in the UK.

Over the last 10 years, we are proud to have reduced our overall electricity consumption by 15%, reduced packaging waste by approximately 15% and recycled more than 800 tonnes of paint.

We have reduced the amount of waste going to landfill with 65 percent of waste being reused or recycled, including 39,000 litres of paint which have gone on to benefit a number of deserving community projects thanks to our Kick out the Can, Can Back and Nimtech schemes.

We’re very proud of the earthbalance® scheme and everything its helped us to achieve over the last 10 years. We have worked hard to ensure staff from across the whole business are on board and engaged with the scheme and as a result earthbalance® is now a central part of our culture at Crown Paints.

Over the years our scheme has been recognised for numerous national awards and we believe its made a real difference to our environmental credentials as a company. We’re constantly looking for new ways to improve and the earthbalance® scheme will remain a key part of the company ethos as we go forward into the next decade.

Mark Lloyd, QHSE Manager Decorative Europe

NEW 100% RECYCLED PACKAGING

The innovative manufacturing process involves separating Polypropylene plastics such as shampoo bottles, yoghurt pots and plastic water bottles from unusable plastic, saving thousands of tonnes of PCW plastic from ending up in landfill.

Once sorted, the plastic is then turned into individual pellets which are dyed and moulded to create our 2.5 and 5 litre paint containers. The dark grey shade enables us to be instantly recognizable to our consumers.

Committed to Responsible Business years

2018 was a key year for us at Crown Paints, and we were pleased to be able to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our earthbalance® scheme, which sets out the company’s commitment to being more sustainable and less wasteful, as well as helping customers and staff make responsible decisions.

As part of the earthbalance® scheme, Crown hold Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) through BRE on six of our most popular products, demonstrating our compliance with the European Standards EN 15804.

And to top off a successful decade of earthbalance®, 2018 saw Crown Paints become the first paint manufacturer in the UK to launch paint containers made from 100 percent recycled post-consumer waste (PCW) plastic, which marks a significant improvement to the plastic paint containers manufactured from 25 percent recycled plastic currently available in the UK.

P C W PAC KS

In 2018 we were pleased to launch our new paint containers made from 100 percent recycled plastic to the market –

making us the first paint manufacturer in the UK to do so.

The plastic 2.5 litre and 5 litre containers, which are available across our Crown Paints retail range have been manufactured

by packaging solutions expert Emballator, using 100 percent post-consumer waste (PCW) plastic for each container.

6 of our products hold verified EPD certificates complying with the European Standard EN 15804:

Crown Trade Clean Extreme Scrubbable Matt

 Crown Trade FastFlow Primer Undercoat

 Crown Trade FastFlow Gloss

 Crown Trade Matt Vinyl Emulsion

 Crown Trade Covermatt

 Crown Trade Antibacterial Acrylic Eggshell

The EPDs are full lifecycle assessments of the environmental impacts of the products from raw materials and manufacturing, through to use and end of life, carried out using the standardised method defined by EN 15804. Each EPD is independently verified to ensure that the data, data handling and resulting report are reliable, giving specifiers and architects confidence in their credibility. The EPDs are aligned with the environmental requirements of BREEAM and LEED and also meet the requirements of the SKA rating scheme, meaning these products can be confidently specified in projects where environmental considerations are key.

The Crown Paints EPD certificates can be found online at GreenBookLive, a unique listing of environmental products and services.

O U R P R O D U C T S A N D ACC R E D I TAT I O N S Crown Paints are proud to be certified to ISO 14001 for Environmental Management and ISO 9001 for Quality Management systems (QMS) from the International Organisation for Standards, meaning we have demonstrated that we are able to measure and improve our environmental impact and that we have quality management systems in place across our company’s departments.

We also have a number of additional certifications, which you can see below:

ALL OF CROWN PAINTS’

PRODUCTS COMPLY WITH THE RELEVANT

REQUIREMENTS

S K A R AT I N GSKA rating is an environmental assessment tool for sustainable fit-outs, owned and managed by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. It benchmarks the environmental performance of a project and includes both refurbishment and new build projects.

Paints are included in the Materials issue of the SKA Rating (M14). There are three criterias to choose from in order to be compliant with the scheme, one of which is that the paint should carry an environmental product declaration (EPD) written in accordance with ISO 14025. Our six products that hold EPDs, as mentioned above, comply with these criteria and hold the SKA Rating Product Compliance Label.

Priority factors ensure doors and handrails are clearly visible, floors and walls are clearly defined, patterns are also mentioned as these can distort vital way finding information. It is instinct to seek out the doorway when in a new environment and being able to locate a door is reassuring and highly useful in case of an emergency. Having the floor a totally different colour to the ceiling helps to establish a sense of space, something many of us think nothing of, but for others, spatial perception can be a problem.

W H AT I S T H E EQ UA L I T Y AC T ?

When it comes to paint and colour scheming, the Equality Act is designed to help people navigate around a building more easily. This is important when you consider

the ageing population (our eyesight deteriorates as we get older) and the thousands of people that are visually impaired or registered with some form of sight loss.

Large buildings such as hospitals, conference centres and care homes can contain a warren of corridors and be confusing to find a way round for the best of us.

Our Breatheasy® Matt & Silk emulsion range is CERTIFIED asthma & allergy friendly, which means a healthier indoor environment as it limits exposure to airborne triggers of asthma and allergies.

B E S 6 0 0 1 R E S P O N S I B L E S O U R C I N G We are proud to hold BES 6001 Responsible Sourcing certification for our water-based products manufactured at Hull.

The scheme is owned by the BRE (Building Research Establishment) and we undergo an annual assessment by BSI, looking at our supply chain policies and processes, as well as our environmental, health and safety policies and performance.

This certification compliments our ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Quality and Environmental management systems in demonstrating that we are a responsible business, raising our profile in terms of our sustainability and environmental credentials for tenders and specification, particularly for projects where sustainable issues are a key feature, such as those looking to gain green building scheme accreditations.

M O D E R N S L AV E R Y AC TWhilst our paint products are manufactured in the UK (Darwen and Hull), some of our raw materials are sourced from overseas, none from high risk countries. To ensure that they are sourced from suppliers who are not involved in slavery or human trafficking, we take the following steps:

We issue a Supplier Assessment Questionnaire and use the responses to decide whether to engage the potential suppliers. Questions relate (amongst other things) to potential supplier’s (i) human rights policy, (ii) human rights process, (iii) employment of child labour, (iv) employment of forced labour, (v) non-discrimination process (vi) employee’s right to rest, leisure and paid holidays, and (vii) respect for the right to living wage.

Our staff are trained in and provided with a copy of the group (i) Code of Conduct, and (ii) Business Ethics Policies. We have launched our Business Partner Code of Conduct, for acceptance by our suppliers, distributors, agents and other business partners.

There is currently a draft of Anti-Slavery and Trafficking policy which will be published and circulated internally shortly.

Our purchasing policy also contains an Ethical Policy which states our position on discrimination, working time legislation, minimum wage legislation, working conditions, child labour, forced labour, abuse in the workplace and training.

We have added warranties to our standards terms and conditions of sale and purchase to prohibit non-compliant activities.

We are in the process of investigating the sourcing of our sundry products to ensure that they are sourced from suppliers who are not involved in slavery or human trafficking.

The British Coatings Federation is the sole UK Trade Association representing the interests of the decorative, industrial and powder coatings, printing inks and wallcovering manufacturers.

Crown have a long history with the BCF and we are proud to say we have been awarded numerous wins over the years. Our Hull site won the BCF award for Coatings Care Overall Best Performance in 2014 and 2017, and our Darwen site was listed as a finalist in 2014, 2015 and 2016.

2016 saw Crown Paints win a customer service award, and not forgetting our People and Culture team who just last year secured the Excellence in Training award.

Our stores team have incorporated the Hempel values, linking socially committed to looking after all our waste stream and sustainability, this demonstrates how the whole team takes our social responsibilities seriously.

By also utilising continuous improvement meetings to drive daily actions, we are constantly challenging where we can improve, increasing recycling, lowering waste costs and reducing our carbon footprint.

K T P P R OJ EC TCrown Paints recently completed a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) that had the aim of finding innovative solutions for water-based paint manufacturing waste streams. KTPs are funded by Government organisation led by Innovate UK. KTPs form a 3-way partnership between a company (company partner), an academic (knowledge base partner), and a graduate (associate). They enable collaborative activity with innovative businesses that require access to skills and expertise to help their companies to develop, often by improving their competitive position, and benefit the UK economy. Our KTP saw Crown Paints teaming up with Lancaster University’s Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Departments and graduate, Joshua Wardrop with a project objective to use chemistry to design and develop processes to reduce, reuse and recycle paint manufacturing and post-use waste, helping to create a circular economy.

Despite some challenges along the way, the project delivered a workable solution for recycling water-based paint manufacturing washings. Crown Paints will now look to move forward with this to realise the economic and environmental benefits. Along the way, the project brought other improvements, such as efficiencies in our waste water treatment process, as well as engaging colleagues and raising awareness of the impact of these waste streams.

CO M M U N I T YCrown Decorating Centre community projects

With an ever-growing network of more than 150 Crown Decorating Centres our colleagues are always on hand to assist the community in times of need. Across 2018 we were pleased to be able to donate to a number of worthwhile causes up and down the Country.

1. Newbury Park CDC donate to ELHAP

Thanks to our CDC in Newbury for donating a recycled plastic bench to charity ELHAP.

Every Life Has A Purpose is a unique charity that provides adventure play opportunities to disabled and disadvantaged children, young people and adults across North East London and Essex.

The bench will sit pride of place in the playground and provide a space for the service users to relax after a busy day of activities.

2. Cambridge CDC lend a helping hand

Colleagues at our Crown Decorating Centre in Cambridge were happy to assist local church ‘C3’ after they reached out for help. The local church group, whose key objectives are to alleviate poverty, reduce isolation and strengthen the community, were looking for assistance with a redecoration project for a vulnerable woman and her son in the local community, whose home was in desperate need of a facelift.

We were able to donate a selection of neutral emulsions and gloss paints to help get the family home looking as good as new, with the help of a team of local volunteers.

Sustainability is about being aware of how our actions impact on the environment around us. This can be individual actions or company actions. The journey has begun, as can be demonstrated over the last 12 – 24 months with huge reductions in VOC’s, reduced energy usage and reduced waste leaving the Darwen site. We as individuals can, and will, do more, but change has already taken place with “sustainability” being discussed more.

It is this cultural change that will drive further improvement going forward.

Along with providing support in managing, minimising and recycling our waste, the NIMTECH team also play a key part in some of our national recycling initiatives such as our Kick out the Can campaign and our Can Back service.

The introduction of new granulating machinery adds a new dimension to our capabilities with NIMTECH, enabling our team to prepare on site all used plastic containers, which are then ready for reprocessing. The plastic is granulated down into small pieces, which are then bagged and sent off site for reconstituting into new plastic products.

This onsite facility means the need for bulk transportation is no longer required, therefore removing the large-scale transport and mileage implication for thousands of containers.

FORT ALICEFort Alice is a Bolton based charitable organisation opened in 1977 to assist woman and children who are affected by domestic abuse. The organisation offers accommodation for 22 women and their children, seeing a high turnover of residents in a short space of time. The charity strives to ensure that all residents feel safe and secure whilst in their care, therefore allowing for a fresh lick of paint each time the flat is offered to a new resident. Crown Paints, alongside NIMTECH, were able to assist in the donation of neutral emulsion paint and white satin gloss to help the charity in their mission.

BLACKBURN YOUTH ZONEIn 2018 we lent our support once again to Blackburn Youth Zone, a 21st century hub located in the heart of Blackburn. Providing a place to go for children and young people aged 5 – 25, admission to the youth zone is just 50p per day, with activities running 7 days a week.

Opened in 2011, the youth zone reached out for help to tidy up their internal walls – and NIMTECH were only too happy to help.

ARTLINK GALLERY Following a successful year in 2017 as Business partner for Hull’s City of Culture, we were introduced to Artlink Gallery, a not for profit creative arts centre in the heart of Hull who work with the local community to promote creative arts. Since moving into new premises in 2011, the space hadn’t seen a lick of paint. Thanks to our close partnership, our Hull manufacturing site were able to donate White Emulsion and Black Gloss to get both the interior and exterior spaces clean and tidy, ready for local creatives to make their mark.

In 2012 we embarked on a partnership with NIMTECH, a social enterprise providing employment opportunities for the hard to reach, and long term unemployed in the community.

From a base at our headquarters in Darwen, NIMTECH provide waste recovery and recycling services to the whole of our UK operations, including our network of over 150 Crown Decorating Centres.

Supporting the circular economy, the partnership represents a move away from just making, using and disposing of goods and instead keeping them in use for as long as possible, then recovering and regenerating the associated products and materials accordingly.

In taking responsibility for its waste, Crown Paints, through NIMTECH, have dramatically increased recovery and reuse of resources which in turn have created significant revenue and rebates.

Examples of this are: Recovery of paint materials from:

Damages in transport or handling where paint is bulked and returned to the process

Residues of raw materials that collects in the bottom of Integrated Bulk Containers (IBCs) that are removed, bulked and sold to secondary paint processors

Marketing campaigns such as the successful Kick Out The Can scheme where returned paint is bulked by types or colours, reprocessed and either donated to good causes or sold to secondary paint processors

Reuse of resources through:

Segregation of cardboard that can be used by secondary box manufacturers which moves it up the waste hierarchy and produces a higher revenue return than recycling

Dismantling the IBCs and using them as receptacles for the collection of recyclable waste on Crown Paints sites and/or selling them on for refurbishment and reuse

Collecting, reconditioning and returning plastic and metal drums to use many times before being processed for recycling

Over the last 10 years Crown Paints, in partnership with Darwen Town Council, have invested over £100,000 back into the local community.

A P P R E N T I C E D ECO R ATO R O F T H E Y E A RNow going into its 40th year the Crown Paints Apprentice Decorator of the year competition is the best known and longest running showcase of talent for up and coming painters and decorators, with more than 200 competitors participating each year.

WO R K E X P E R I E N C EIn 2018 we welcomed 25 students across the business, offering placements within our Research and Development Lab, People and Culture department as well as our Marketing and Design studios.

We work with a number of schools, sixth form colleges and universities across the UK. The below highlight just a few that we were pleased to work with:

 Bolton School Sixth Form

 Lincoln College

 Darwen Aldridge Community Academy

 Swansea University

 Sale Grammar Sixth Form

 Edge Hill University

We offer students the chance to gain hands on experience within the work place, setting projects and tasks as well as allowing students to shadow and observe a colleague during a typical day at Crown Paints.

From sporting kits and equipment to camping gear for Scouts and park and cemetery restoration, the group donates awards of up to £2,000 to local groups within the BB3 postcode every year.

Across 2019, Crown Paints and Darwen Town Council will continue to support not for profit community projects in our local area. After our most successful year ever in 2018, the bar was set for another great year. In the first quarter of the year we have already awarded more than £5,500 to community groups close to our Darwen site including:

 Everton Street Bowling Club

 Whitehall Bowling Club

 Junior Gardeners Football Club

As a company, we at Crown Paints believe strongly in supporting as many charities, worthwhile causes and communities as possible.

Since 2010, the Crown Paints Charity team have raised over £140,000 which we have donated to a variety of deserving charities, including Children with Cancer UK, who we were pleased to partner up with as principle partners in 2016.

We are also pleased to be able to support charities local to our Darwen and Hull manufacturing sites, these being The East Lancashire Hospice and Dovehouse Hospice. We are proud to say that these charities are handpicked by our colleagues at Crown Paints and hold close meaning to many who have needed their services over the years.

Alongside our day to day charity work, each year we hold our annual charity golf day, where we invite our customers, partners and suppliers from across the country to join us in playing 18 holes at the beautiful Brocket Hall, located in the heart of Hertfordshire.

Last year we raised a staggering £30,000 and this year we are aiming to exceed this by raising over £35,000 for our charity partners.

As always, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported the efforts of the charity team and donated towards our charitable endeavours over the last 12 months, without you none of this would be possible.

C R OW N PA I N T S C H A R I T Y T E A M

We support some amazing charities that make a real difference to people and families in the form of hospice care and treating children with cancer. We also support other events and activities and donate paint to worthy community causes through our social enterprise partnership with Nimtech. It’s great to report that we exceeded our target for fundraising in 2018, this is something we aim to do year after year. We can only do this with the support of some fantastic colleagues. Our aim is to try and help make a difference by taking charity personally.

Tutors and employees across the UK encourage their best students and apprentices to participate in regional competitions. Using a range of Crown Paints products, students are put through their paces as they take on a series of tasks set to test their skill, dexterity and accuracy within a tight timescale.

The grand final is held every year at WorldSkills UK Live, at the NEC in Birmingham. The WorldSkills UK Live is a unique celebration that welcomes more than 82,000 visitors and offers exciting opportunities in further education and apprenticeships.

With the opportunity to the crowned Crown Paints Apprentice Decorator of the Year, finalists also could be handpicked to represent the UK at WorldSkills competitions, which are held across the globe.

2 0 1 8 W I N N E R Taking the winning position in 2018 was Aiden Dearie, a 22-year-old painting and decorating apprentice from City Building Glasgow’s Queenslie Training College. Aiden wowed the judges at the competition, completing a centenary inspired mural over the course of 3 days.

Thanks to the win, Aiden’s employer is now sponsoring him through a degree in Construction Management, with plans for Aiden to be managing council construction projects in the future.

We were pleased to welcome two new judges for the competition – Sandy Webster, who was awarded Gold place in 2013 and Ben Deer, who was awarded Gold place in 2015.OVER
