Dubai based Lulu Group has partnered Jakson for its upcoming
mall in Lucknow for power back-up solutions. The company has
placed orders for 6x2000 KVA & 1x1010 KVA DG sets with Jakson.
Once completed, Lulu Mall Lucknow will be the largest mall in North
India with more than 20 lakh square feet of retail space. Jakson is
proud to be associated with this project.

MSN Laboratories, a leading pharmaceutical company in India and
a key customer for Jakson in the pharma segment has placed
orders for 4x1500 KVA and 3x1250 KVA DG sets. In addition to
supply of gensets, Jakson will undertake complete SITC of the
project. Jakson was awarded this project by MSN Labs for its
proven product quality, excellent after sales support and good
customer relations.

Jakson has received DG set orders from Vasudha Pharma for its
new manufacturing facility in Parawada Pharma city in Vizag.

Vedanta Limited continues to partner Jakson for its DG power
needs. The company has placed new genset orders for its
Aluminium power plant in Jharsuguda, Odisha. Vedanta has been a

Jakson gensets for its Howrah plant. The Howrah plant is a food
processing unit of ITC and requires uninterrupted power for running

Limited (DBL) and GR Infra Gurgaon, leading infrastructure

JAKSON DG SETS CONTINUE TO BE FIRST CHOICE OF INFRASTRUCTURE COMPANIES
BHEL Industrial Systems Group (ISG), a leading player in industrial
drives, controls and automation systems awarded Jakson, a DG
systems supply contract for it Ennore SEZ project in Tamil Nadu.
The order consists of supply of 3x1750 KVA DG Sets with all
accessories and panels.
BHEL ISG DG SYSTEMS CONTRACT
Siemens has entrusted Jakson with the responsibility of
supplying DG power back-up systems for its HVDC Transmission
System between Pugalur (Tamil Nadu) and Thrishur (Kerala). The
project awarded by Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd to
Siemens requires uninterrupted back-up power for safe & stable
operation of the grid. The order consists of 4x1750 KVA DG Sets
with customized panels and other electrical accessories.

ARDH KUMBH 2019 TO BE POWERED BY JAKSON
‘Ardh Kumbh Mela’ - one of the largest congregations of religious
pilgrims in India will be powered by Jakson Diesel Gensets.
Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, a state utility responsible
for providing power supply to the festival has placed orders for 36
DG Sets across LHP, MHP and HHP range for the upcoming fair to
be held at Triveni Sangam in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India from
January to March 2019.

Lotus Greens, a leading real estate group of North India will use
Jakson DG sets to serve the power back-up needs of its upcoming
luxury residential project - Lotus Isle in Noida. Lotus Green has been
a key customer for several years and this order further strengthens
the customer confidence in Jakson DG sets. 6x1250 KVA; 3x1010
KVA and 1x750 KVA DG Sets will be supplied by Jakson to the real
estate group for this project.
POWER BACK-UP SOLUTION FOR VARUN BEVERAGES
TECHNICAL TRAINING PROGRAMS ORGANIZED FOR DG CUSTOMERS
To provide hands-on training to customers, Jakson & Cummins
jointly organized a series of technical training workshops in Noida
& Kanpur. The training programs covered topics like best
maintenance practices, latest product technical upgrades,
technological advancements amongst others. All the training
workshops witnessed good participation from customers.
Varun Beverages, part of RJ Corp Group, a diversified business
conglomerate in India placed an order for multiple gensets with
Jakson for its plant in Pathankot, Punjab. Scope of work for the
project includes Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning (SITC)

Jakson is in the final stages of commissioning a 1 MW rooftop
solar plant at SNB Enterprises, a prominent SS Pipe manufacturer
based at Kundli, Haryana. The rooftop solar plant is set up on a tin
shed structure using Klip Lock module mounting system. Executed
under the CAPEX model, the plant will supply clean electricity for
factory operations. Any additional power generated will be sold to
the local discom through net metering facility. In addition to
electricity cost savings of about INR 50 lakhs per year, the plant will
help offset about 1200 tons of CO2 annually.
JAKSON’S FIRST MEGAWATT SCALE INDUSTRIAL ROOFTOP PLANT
Jakson along with its system integrator, M/s Surya Shakti
successfully installed and commissioned Solar Off-Grid systems
at 35 different branches of J&K Bank. All these branches are
located in remote areas of Leh and Ladakh in Jammu & Kashmir,
India. Installation of these solar plants has helped in providing
power back-up to critical systems thereby ensuring uninterrupted
banking operations and negating effects of unreliable grid power
connectivity.

100 KW SOLAR ROOFTOP PLANT AT MAHARAJA AGRASEN MEDICAL COLLEGE
Jakson along with its local partner M/s DN Enterprises
successfully commissioned a 100 KW grid-tied rooftop solar plant
at Maharaja Agrasen Medical College, Agroha, Haryana. The
rooftop plant is capable of producing 1.5 lakh units of clean
electricity per annum while at the same time offsetting about 2130000 kg of CO emissions as well. Equipped with net-metering
facility, the plant is capable to sell off any excess electricity
generated back to the grid, resulting in savings of electricity costs.
Jakson has successfully installed and commissioned a grid
connected 200 KW solar rooftop power plant at Euro Containers, a
prestigious plastic packaging container manufacturer based out of
Dera Bassi, Punjab. The plant, executed through our system
integrator M/s Shakti Powertronix based in Amritsar, is also
equipped with net metering facility enabling it to sell off any excess
electricity back to the grid.
200 KW ROOFTOP SOLAR PLANT AT EURO CONTAINERS, PUNJAB
Jakson has successfully installed a 50 KW on-grid rooftop solar
power plant at GD Goenka Public School, Sirsa, Haryana. The
project was executed by our local system integrator M/s DN
Enterprises based in Sirsa. Working on net metering concept, the
electricity generated by the plant will supplement the grid power
requirements of the school resulting in substantial savings in
electricity costs.

Jakson has begun manufacturing of Glass to Glass modules at its
manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, India. Jakson Glass to
Glass modules offer industry leading power efficiency and have
been developed keeping in mind the growing demand for such
modules in India and overseas markets. The modules range from
260 - 280 Wp in power output and have 5 busbar solar cells that
offer better power output. The module was showcased at Jakson’s
booth in the recent Renewable Energy India Expo 2018

4TH CLEAN TECH & MOBILITY SUMMIT
Jakson was invited to showcase its innovative solar products and
conduct a hands-on technical training session on solar technologies
at the Master Training Program organized by International Solar
Alliance (ISA) for its member countries. The program was held at NISE
Gurugram on 10th & 11th September, 2018 and saw participation of
29 delegates from 9 different countries.

Dr Dave Renne, President, International Solar Energy Society and Board member, Global Solar
Council visited Jakson corporate office recently. Mr Sundeep Gupta, VCMD, Jakson Group and
Mr Rabindra Satpathy, Director - Solar Business held discussions on various subjects and Jakson’s
solar offerings during these meetings.
PRESENTATION AT ISA
Mr Rabindra Satpathy, Director - Solar Business made a presentation to delegates on Jakson’s solar
business at the RE-Invest. His presentation showcased Jakson’s capabilities in the solar space.
Jakson successfully completed an external electrification project
at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB) campus in
Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. The project was awarded to Jakson
by HSCC India Limited. Scope of work for the project included
supply, installation testing, commissioning (SITC) of electrical
works for substation; cabling, substation equipment including
transformers, fire alarm and smoke detection systems; elevators
systems amongst others.
EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION WORKS AT NIAB HYDERABAD COMPLETED
Hon'ble Member of Parliament, Shri Nishikant Dubey laid the
foundation stone of Jakson's 220/132/33 KV Grid Substation
project at Sripur, Godda, Jharkhand. The event was attended by
senior dignitaries and officials of Jharkhand. Scope of work for the
project includes complete end-to-end construction of substations
including civil works for foundation, land development and earthing
work amongst others.
HON'BLE MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT LAYS FOUNDATION STONE OF JAKSON SUBSTATION PROJECT
Jakson successfully executed a turnkey 33/11 KV Substation
project including related civil and structural works at the India
manufacturing center of Oppo Mobiles in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
Scope of work for the project included engineering design; SCADA
systems, nitrogen injection plant for fire prevention of power
transformer; CCTV, PA and fire alarm systems; HVAC; Gas flooding
and fire suppression systems for control room & HT Panels;
underground cabling; Supply & installation of HT panels &
transformers; cable and cable racks installation from HT Panels to
Transformers; LT Distribution Board in each Area for Auxiliary
Power and earthing of complete electrical system.
33/11 KV SUBSTATION PROJECT COMPLETEDAT OPPO INDIA MANUFACTURING CENTER
A 33KV substation project for ESIC Medical College at Bihta, Patna
in Bihar was successfully executed by Jakson. The project was
awarded to Jakson by National Building Constructions Corporation
Limited (NBCC), a Government of India enterprise. Scope of work
for the project included complete supply, installation, testing and
commissioning of the project. The project was completed in a short
time frame of six months.

A free health check-up camp was organised for Jakson employees
in association with Fortis Hospitals. The camp was held on 4th
August 2018 at corporate office in Noida & on 10th August 2018 at
Greater Noida Plant. All interested employees were tested for blood
pressure, blood sugar, body mass index (BMI) and subsequent
physician consultation was done with each individual employees.
HEALTH CAMP - GREATER NOIDA PLANT & CORPORATE OFFICE
In order to address growing issue of hypertension among corporate
employees in general, a health awareness session was organized for
Jakson employees at corporate office in Noida. Dr Varun Bhargava, a
well-known neurosurgeon from Kailash Hospital, New Delhi was
invited to educate our employees on the causes and risks of
hypertension. He also spoke about measures that can be taken in
daily routine to ensure good health of the employees.

On the occasion of 72nd Independence Day of the country,
Jaksonites paid tribute to our freedom fighters as well as
celebrated the occasion with some fun and games. To make the
occasion even more special, the entire office was decked in tri-
coloured balloons and flags and employees were encouraged to
dress in ethnic wear.
In keeping with the essence of the occasion, a Kite Flying
Competition and an Independence Day Quiz Competition was
organized which further brought out patriotic feelings among the
employees.

As par t of i ts Corporate Social
Responsibility initiative, Jakson Group
inaugurated an Early Learning Centre
(ELC) on 4th September 2018 at its
Kalsar Genset Manufacturing Unit in
Gujarat. This is the third such facility
established by Jakson in the country.
The earlier facilities are successfully
running in Noida, Uttar Pradesh &
Satara in Maharashtra. Our early
learning centres aim to provide
opportunities to learn, play and grow for
girl children from below poverty line
(BPL) families from urban as well as
rural areas.
The ELC Kalsar will enrol 25 girls in the
age group of 2-6 years, in-line with the
Government's initiative of 'Beti Bachao
Beti Padao' programme. Trained
teachers and assistants have been
taken on board to provide quality
education to these children. The facility
also has complete hygiene, sanitation
and safe drinking water facilities.
Equipped with modern equipment &
teaching aids, the ELC also provides
highly nutritional meals to the children
for holistic development of every child.
INAUGURATION OF EARLY LEARNING CENTRE AT KALSAR, GUJARAT
In order to discourage the use of plastic among its employees,
Jakson initiated a “Say No to Plastic Campaign”. The campaign
sought to sensitize the employees on the enormous environmental
hazard that is caused by mindless use of plastics.
Leading the way in this initiative, all plastic water bottles across the
organization were changed with stainless steel bottles while all the
plastic glasses were replaced with paper ones which is much safer
alternative for the human body as well as the environment.
SAY NO TO PLASTIC CAMPAIGN
Jaksonites whole-heartedly contributed towards the rehabilitation
efforts in disaster-hit Kerala by contributing clothes, blankets and
bed sheets etc. Donation boxes were set up at various Jakson
offices across the country for collection of items and thereafter
sent to various flood relief camps in Kerala.
STAND FOR KERALA CAMPAIGN - DONATION CAMP
Teams from Jakson won at the CII Supervisory Skills & Kaizen th
Competition, held at New Delhi on the 14 of August, 2018. CII-
Supervisory Skills & Kaizen Competition is an annual event organized
to recognize and encourage companies to give importance to
continuous improvements through Kaizens. Our teams won in the
categories of Kaizen & 5S Improvement, Operations & Production
(O&P) and QC Improvement & Inspection where they faced stiff
competition from more than 20 teams from various organizations
across the industry. We acknowledge the hard work put in by the
teams and congratulate them on their success.
JAKSON WINS CII SUPERVISORY SKILLS & KAIZEN COMPETITION

Jakson Group began work on an environment conservation project
in the Aravalli Hills in Faridabad, Haryana, with a tree plantation
drive. The drive organized in association with 'Save the Aravalli
Trust' is part of Jakson's 'City Forest' initiative under which an
area measuring 2 acres in the Aravalli hills is being converted from a
garbage dump to a green area. Approximately 4 feet of garbage has
been dredged from the spot where this tree plantation activity was
organized. Further, all forms of ground pollutants such as plastic
bags, etc., were removed from the top soil and treated to support
plant life. The Municipal Commissioner of Faridabad, Mr. M Shayin,
graced the occasion and participated in the plantation drive which
was attended by members of Jakson senior leadership team and
employee volunteers. A total of 100 tree saplings were planted at
the spot.
ENVIRONMENT CONSERVATION PROJECT AT ARAVALLI HILLS IN FARIDABAD
Jakson Group participated in the “Swachhta Pakhwada - Swachhta
Hi Seva” campaign organised by Confederation of Indian Industry
(CII) on the occasion of Independence Day. As part of this
campaign, Jakson initiated a “Brown to Green” initiative and
organized a tree plantation drive at a school in Greater Noida.
Jakson employees as well as its partners were encouraged to plant
native, fruit bearing trees to reduce pollution levels and create a
greener planet.

On the occasion of “Swachhta Pakhwada - Swachhta Hi
Seva”campaign organised by CI I on the occasion of
Independence Day, Jakson organized an educative session on
waste management through an art competition & tree plantation
drive at its Genset manufacturing unit in Kathua, Jammu. Apart
from this, educative billboards on waste management, personal
hygiene & sanitation were placed in schools supported by Jakson
Group.

Jakson Inns Phaltan was awarded the ‘Green Hotel of the year award 2018’ at the 53rd Convention of Federation of
Hotels and Restaurant Association of India (FHRAI) - the highest hotel governing body of India held in Lucknow recently.
The award was presented to Jakson by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Dinesh Sharma. Ms
Soraya Rebello, Vice President - Jakson Hospitality received the award on behalf of Jakson.
