01About Xi`anXi’an, located in central-northwestChina, has recorded the great changesof the country like a living history book.Once the terminus of the Silk Road anda melting pot of cultures and religions,Xi’an is home to the world-famousTerracotta Army.
Moreover, Xi’an is acknowledged asthe largest and most important base ofscientific research and a center ofhigher education, national defense andhigh-tech industries in China.
Welcome to NPULocated in historic city Xi’an andfounded in 1938, NorthwesternPolytechnical University (NPU) is affiliatedwith the Ministry of Industry and InformationTechnology. NPU, as a member of the "ExcellenceNine(E9) Union of Universities" in China, has justifiablybecome an educational and research center for northwest China.
