AN EXPERIMENT IN INFRASTRUCTURE

First foray into cloud was an online self service trial for customersDidn’t want to buy more infrastructure, didn’t want to put our solo site at risk of downtime through unpredictable spikes in traffic or utilisation

Started using AWS

Being a trial, we could test how it might work, didn’t have to be as mindful of regulatory compliance

Our cloud was running reliably for our trial

Cloud became the obvious choice when we started moving lite product clients while still protecting our coloenvironment
