S1 Option Phase – Submission of S1 Options
➢ Submission through Internet
Parents need to:▪ Complete hardcopy of S1 option form
▪ Access S1-IS ;ink via S1 website
www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/secondary-one-posting-exercise
▪ Login using student’s BC/FIN and S1 PIN (as printed on S1 Option Form)
▪ Input school choices and/or eligibility options
▪ Print out Verification Slip (VS) as proof of successful submission
System is available 24-hrs starting from 11am on the
first day until 3pm on the last day of S1 Option Phase
(Singapore Time)

Proxy Form – Parents who are not in Singapore may
authorise a proxy to submit the S1 Options, on their

S1 Option Phase – Dual Track Schools
➢ Two Option Codes: ‘O’ Level Programme and Integrated
Programme (IP)
Student must choose option codes of both programmes
of the ame school in order of preference if she is
interested in both (eg 3004 (‘O’ Level) & 9152 (IP) in
Cedar Girls’ Sec Sch)
Student who indicated ONLY the IP option code of the
school (eg 9152) will NOT be automatically considered
for posting to the ‘O’ Level Programme unless she has
also indicated the ‘O’ Level Programme option code of
the school (eg 3004) as one of the school choices.

➢ Affiliation
Students are to select affiliated school as 1st choice to
enjoy affiliation priority.
However, priority for admission to affiliated secondary
schools does not guarantee admission.
Subject to the availability of places in these affiliated
secondary schools and additional qualifying criteria.
➢ Affiliation for Dual Track Schools
Affiliation considerations will only be given for the ‘O’
Level Programme if student indicates:
▪ ‘O’Level Programme of the affiliated dual track school
as the first choice OR
▪ IP of that affiliated dual track school as the first choice
and the ‘O’ Level Programme of the affiliated dual
track school as the second choice.

Students with option bands must exercise course
preference in S1-IS during S1 Option Phase. Otherwise,
students will be posted to the more academic demanding
course.

(SAP) Schools
Students, who meet the criteria below, are eligible for
bonus points for the admission to SAP schools:
▪ Offer a Higher Chinese Language at PSLE and
▪ Top 30% cohort

➢ Higher Mother Tongue Languages (HMTL)
(Higher Chinese / Higher Malay / Higher Tamil)
Offer a MTL or HMTL at PSLE and
▪ Top 10% of the PSLE cohort or
▪ Top 11 – 30 % of the PSLE cohort who meet the
language criteria
o MTL : A* or
o HMTL : at least a Merit
Interested students can apply to take up HMTL when
they report to their secondary school in late December.

➢ Edusave Entrance Scholarships for Independent Schools
(EESIS)
Singapore Citizens (SC) who have met the academic
requirements based on their PSLE results will be
eligible for EESIS. They will be offered EESIS if they are
successfully admitted to an Independent School (IS) at
S1.

Elective Programme, Music Elective Programme, Elective
Programme in Malay Languages, Regional Studies

options
Discuss with child in choosing secondary schools and
making S1 options together
Consider secondary schools holistically, based on the
suitability of the learning environment, the school ethos
and their programmes that cater to the interests and
aptitudes of the child
