    The CLA is the 12th product launched by Mercedes-Benz India pursuing its

    diesel engine that produces 100 kW (136 hp) and 300 Nm of torque available at

    DYNAMIC SELECT with 4 four drive modes: Comfort, Sport, Eco & Individual

    Motorized by the 7G Dual Clutch Transmission, the CLA ensures rapid gear

    Mumbai: The countrys largest luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz India today

    redefined the compact luxury sedan segment, by driving in the stylish new CLA. The

    CLA embodies an intelligent combination of functionality and agility in a modern

    coup design with several striking features. The CLAs stunning design elements

    and dynamic appearance make it one of the most stunning sedans on road. The

    CLA represents a landmark in automotive design, carving out a niche for itself. It

    features an Avant-garde coup design with powerful lines, striking light reflections,

    soft nose and extremely low Cd value of 0.25 (the lowest drag coefficient of any

    production car in the world). In short, the CLA is impossible to ignore and even

    harder to resist. The Mercedes-Benz CLA was launched by Roland Folger,

    Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India and will be available in

    Mercedes-Benz dealerships across the country.

  • DYNAMIC SELECT allows the driver to choose their desired setting based on the

    driving patterns. To this end, the driver can select one of four transmission modes

    using the DYNAMIC SELECT switch: ECO, Comfort, Sport and Individual.

    The CLA has classic coup proportions: a high, stretched waistline, flat window

    surfaces and a long bonnet. The unusually expressive lines combined with both

    concave and convex surfaces give the CLA its avant-garde, sporty character and

    create varied light effects. Keeping with its innovative design, the CLA is now also

    available in Cavansite blue as well as other innovative finishes. Its typical Coup

    style elements ensure the expressive, signature appearance of the CLA. The CLA

    features re-designed taillights for a dynamic visual appearance. In addition to the

  • thanks to a broad light distribution, a light colour similar to daylight and low energy

    consumption. The tail lights feature LED technology and create a visual highlight

    while improving visibility. The CLA comes with 43.2 cm (17-inch) 5-Twin-Spoke

    Light-Alloy Wheels painted in tremolite grey and with a high-sheen finish.

    Sporty Interiors

    The sporty character of the exterior is reflected in the interior by an emphasis on

    horizontal lines. The adoption of design features such as the resumption of the

    dynamic sideline in the door panels forms a link between the outside and inside.

    High-grade materials and first-class workmanship meet the high expectations of an

    extraordinary coup.

    Memory function for drivers and passengers seat

    The electrically adjustable driver's seat enables convenient and individual adjustment

    of the seat position. The memory function allows up to three positions to be stored

    for the seat and the exterior mirrors, for subsequent selection as required. This is

    particularly practical when different drivers use the vehicle.

    Cost of ownership for the CLA

    The CLA comes with affordable and convenient service packages. Based on the

    consumers needs and preferences, service packages of various age & mileages are

    introduced. These customer focused packages offering various options and

    flexibility, can last up to 10 years from the date of sale, for a hassle free ownership

    experience. Star Ease Maintenance package for the CLA 200 starts at just Rs. 49,

    000 and for the CLA 200 d at Rs. 63,000 only. In addition to the 3 year warranty,

    customers can avail extended warranty for 4th year at a price of Rs. 38,000.

    The open top luxury motoring has been redefined by two fascinating products without a predecessor

    in India, these are C-Class Cabriolet and the S-Class Cabriolet, the 10th and the 11th launches

    respectively. The 12th launch of the year is the new CLA that has revamped the luxury compact sedan


    Underlining the service excellence achieved in India, the company has also been ranked number one

    in the prestigious J.D. Power Customer Service Index 2015, among all the luxury brands for the

    second year in a row. Mercedes-Benz India also registered a historic 32% year-on-year growth by

    selling 13502 units in the JanDecember 2015 period and became the No. 1 luxury car brand in terms

    of sales volumes. Mercedes-Benz scripted historic sales for the 2015-16 Fiscal Year, selling 13,558

    units between April 2015 and March 2016. The company has maintained steady sales growth by

    selling 9,924 units during January-September period. The brand has won as many as 30 prestigious

    automotive awards conferred by different media houses across India, the highest won by any luxury

    automotive brand in India this year.
