Responsibilities/Deliverables: As Senior Developer, my responsibilities are to participate in the review of Functional Specification documents and to design solutions to those specifications. I designed the technical solutions and documented them in Technical Specification document(s). Primary tasks were to develop solutions for Interfaces and Enhancements (RICEF) requirements. Achievements: Worked with ABAP and ABAP Objects in the Realization Phase to successfully create a

broad enhancement, termed Program Cost Account (PCA) to much of the FI and Logistics document creating/editing functionality. I utilized BADIs (both explicit and implicit enhancement points), Standard Enhancement Spots, and Business Transaction Events (BTE), to realize this customized functionality, whereby Functional Areas doubled as PCA Codes. Use of a PCA code resulted in automatic splitting of account line items (PO) and accounting attributes of FI document detail lines, as well as account info for Funds Management documents. The PCA enhancement is effective in applicable standard online transactions, as well as in custom interface programs. The functionality extends to the GL Accounting Documents (posted and parked), the Customer Invoice, the SRM Shopping Cart, Funds Reservation Documents, Purchase Orders, and potentially OrgMgmt Infotype 1018 – Cost Distribution.

I leveraged BADIs to extend the scope of PCA functionality to SAP SRM. As such, I programmed in ABAP Objects, using available classes and methods to implement the custom functionality, maintaining the SAP Standard.

I created a custom dialog program for the maintenance of PCA master data. I worked to create and complete custom Interface programs to process inbound

Financial and Materials Management interface files from decentralized State Agencies. Utilized SAP XI with File Adapter for interface file handling.

I worked in the Integration Testing stage of the project to troubleshoot defects and make corrections to all RICEFW development objects, including Adobe Interactive Forms.

I use my excellent communication skills to share knowledge with the customer to eventually create the most in in-house expertise and realized lower total cost of ownership for SAP.

I primarily developed solutions to interfaces and enhancements requirements. I also completed development with SmartForms and with Adobe Interactive Forms Designer. Assigned to the Global Sustaining team, responsibilities touched many Manufacturing process. Specifically, development centered around MRO activity (Service Notifications/Service Orders). I worked to effectively complete tasks within prescribed time frames solution – Planning and Delivery Process Teams and Data Transformation Team. Achievements: Worked effectively with various groups to realize a solution to interface the Work Order

object from the SAP SCM Supplier Network Collaboration (SNC) module to the Service Notification of the ECC6.0 Logistics module. This effort required development of a custom program to trigger the interface of the SNC Work Order on a regularly scheduled basis from the SCM instance to the ECC6.0 instance, via SAP XI. A customized XML message is developed to passed between SNC and XI and a customized IDOC type was developed to pass between XI and ECC6.0, along with a customized processing routine. This custom interface was developed as there is no standard interface scenario for the SNC Work Order. The solution utilized standard SAP on the SNC side, as the standard ManufacturingWorkOrderInformation message type was employed. Data type enhancements were used to enhance the message structures and were propagated to the SCM instance using SPROXY. Finally, the SAP Enhancement Framework was used to derive data and fill enhanced structures to be interfaced to ECC6.0. Service Notification BAPIs “BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_DATA_MODIFY” and “BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_DATA_ADD” and others were used to create/update the ECC6.0 Service Notification.

Worked effectively with users and functional experts to resolve defects for interface, enhancement, and forms objects during various Integration Test Cycles.

Leveraged SAP SmartForms to develop forms output in PDF format. Also, utilized the Adobe LiveCycle Designer to develop Adobe Interactive forms in the integrated form builder (txn SFP). An interactive form was developed for the SAP Purchase Order. The form is saved to disk, e-mailed to Vendor, and allowed vendor to enter alternate part numbers in the form, save form to disk, and send back to customer.

Worked intergration test defects for all development objects, including SmartForms and Adobe Interactive Forms.
