The annual tournament is a collaboration between the City of North Myrtle Beach and Barefoot Resort & Golf. Proceeds from the event go towards the North Myrtle Beach Public Safety Department’s Shop with a Cop program. This year the department’s Shop with a Cop program focused on children in need at Riverside, Waterway and Ocean Drive Elementary Schools. The children were treated to a December 10 lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings and then, accompanied by NMB Public Safety Officers and volunteers, went to Walmart to buy presents and necessities, such as winter coats, with their $100 Wal-Mart gift cards. The 2016 tournament fee was $60 per person, which included green fees, cart, range balls, non-alcoholic beverages, breakfast, lunch and a $10,000 hole-in-one competition.
