When behind the wheel, you quickly realize it

has a vast collection of intuitive, leading-edge

technologies, designed to enhance the driving

experience, not confuse it. The RDX also takes

technology to a new level with the multi-angle

rearview camera§ with guidelines. Standard

on all models, it provides you with a clear

view image from behind your vehicle on

a 5-inch display, while an 8-inch LED blacklit

Elite Packages have a bi-directional key fob

that allows you to communicate with your RDX.

When you send a request to the vehicle –

that the request was received. Smart entry

with pushbutton technology allows you to

enter your RDX and start the engine without

having to take your key fob out of your pocket.

A sense of personal comfort is all-encompassing

in the RDX as automatic climate control system

benefits from a GPS-linked solar sensor on the

The Acura Lane Keeping Assist System builds

on conventional lane departure systems to work

while a continuous beep alerts the driver.

the system is engineered to begin braking

to help reduce speed and mitigate the force

when on an incline. If you switch from the

brake pedal to the accelerator while stopped

on a hill, the system is designed to activate

and halt the vehicle.

Six airbags increases the safety for all

occupants inside the cabin. Depending on

the point and force of impact, the RDX will

deploy dual-stage, multiple-threshold front

airbags (SRS) that activate at one of two rates,

depending on the severity of the impact and

side curtain airbags with a state-of-the-art

rollover sensor.

The 4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)§

helps you maintain steering control when braking

The Advanced Compatibility Engineering™

(ACE) body structure utilizes a high-tensile,

high-efficiency steel frame to provide

enhanced protection from a multi-directional

collision. ACE reduces the force of a frontal

impact by absorbing energy over a large area

and dispersing it away from you and other

occupants of the cabin. ACE is also designed

to help reduce occupant injuries caused by

misalignment in collisions between vehicles

The Tire Pressure Monitoring System‡ (TPMS)

continually monitors the air pressure in your

tires. If pressure drops in any one, a warning

appears on your instrument panel, indicating

which tire requires attention. The system

displays the tire pressure of each individual
