  • We are proud that this idea born on a gloomy summer day on the ferry to Islay, has become a classic of our bot-tlings. We are in love with the desire to experiment, to create unique and non-replicable spirits. Two malts. Islay children, two distinct and distant generations walking to-gether hand in hand. Behind him, the millennial Scotland, proud of its traditions and origins. In front the future, the desire to innovate, to convey, to share experiences, pas-sions, mistakes and successes.

We invite you to memorize every facet, every edge, every corner... This blended is linked to the previous and to the future editions but is unique. Symmetry. In fact, round and sweet notes soften the shape, the smoky notes hold up the structure. On the nose the bouquet opens musky and earthy and evolves in vanilla, mint, powder and fresh fruit.

Pungent on the palate, a balsamic opening that instantly turns to iodine and peaty tones, naturally the excess of alcohol characterizes it and holds it together with rhythm and elegance. Powerful and explosive, it leaves us with a rich and juicy aftertaste.

  • A spirit that ought to be tasted freeing the mind and let-ting the imagination kidnap one’s self. Assembling and aging are the actions that allow us to be guided through and accomplish the most critical task, namely, fighting time. The malts of Islay make for the rest… Elegant and powerful. Quite long-lasting, despite its young age which paws in the glass. Here is again the wish to fly that wins us over…From the moonlit coast, getting closer to home after months of sailing, recognizing the fragrances and the scents of the homeland.

The iodine component is persistent but it doesn’t confine the rhythm and the dimension of this spirit. Aftertaste is of cereal, very rich in yeast and with bread notes, salty butter and seaweed.

Balsamic perfumes of salts and minerals, pungent scents like oregano, marjoram and sesame, here we are on the deck of a night of twenty centuries and the ancient Medi-terranean as backdrop.

  • Ode to youth... To consider the youth a value in itself, it is revolutionizing many social fields. While no one gives worth of many young people, that remain on the side-lines... in a world created by young people... We carry for-ward ancient traditions with slight, cocky and reckless eye. It is not necessarily a value in itself, but in many cases we are surprised when we hear that a young whiskey does not deserve to occupy an important place in a wine display.

Third edition of this cadet of Scotland, assembly com-posed largely of Laphroaig. Is predominant a medicine and iodine Inkling but placed in an aromatic structure that supports and accompanies him. Medicinal herbs, vanilla, leather, licorice in the background are the corollary.

Remarkable persistence in the mouth where the typical Islay salinity predominates. Very long despite his young age pawing the glass. It conquers us with a balsamic pro-file, full of pungent scents like oregano, sesame, marjo-ram. The iodine component is persistent but does not limit the pace and size of this spirit.

  • The precious stones essentially are a basic chemical com-pound composed by atoms that find a perfect balance thanks to the passage of time. The blended of Bunna-habhain e Laphroaig creates a whisky with a tetrahedral structure as the diamond. The panorama of perfumes and scents it’s very rich in nuance and brings in mind the light of a rainbow, the same light reflected from the diamond.

To taste it fully you need the patience of the gold dig-ger, but we are rewarded with complex and rich aromas. Charcoal, seaweed burned, butter, yeast, mint, oregano, sesame toasted cherry and cloves grow in the mouth with a poignant rhythm.

    ...Any Colour You Like...

We will never tire of reminding you to not drink it to hast-ily... to stay on the topic do not waste time...

  • The second bottling of the younger brother of our Blends. An 8 year old boy very curious, undisciplined.

Very clean nose, green bouquet with hints of fresh grass and wild flowers tones. Those days where it shakes off the winter torpor and the sun’s rays caress us. Leaving it in the glass we find scents of hay and freshly ground grains.

In the mouth the aromas take shape. With a rapid pace we find sesame, mint and bergamot tones, but also more pungent scents, like anchovy paste, spicy garlic flowers and balsamic notes. A closure of ginger that leaves the tip of the tongue in shock with the desire to taste a bit more.

  • We love to do assemblies, they allow us to use imagina-tion and creativity. This is the second year we are pre-senting a blend of Speyside malts, this is a very feminine version, full of sex appeal. A necklace to wear. This is our Samaroli Spey.

As a photographer wait for the best light, we have wait-ed for the right time, the balance point to melt together three characters, the three souls of Speyside, giving birth to a special alloy. We create jealously and with passion we propose to you.

On the nose we perceive hints of honey, pear, bread, mixed almonds, medicines and herbal tones, later it evolves towards chocolate and coffee. Persistent in the mouth. Elegant. White fruit and spicy powder converge with those of thyme, mint and sesame and all together lead us to a large rollercoaster of stinging developments. The aftertaste is spicy, enveloping, opulent.

  • Power to Creativity. One of the usual classic assemblages of Samaroli. Wonderful bouquet which confirms the rich-ness in diversity as well as the harmoniously union, creat-ing completeness.

A babel tower that arches in our palate. Sensation of be-ing in a old kitchen with pots boiling and cutting boards overflowing, everything with symmetrical, rhythmic, hyp-notic precision. Salted butter aromas, yeast, spices and flowers get our attention. An infinity of tones challenge the memory and force us to look for scents and nostalgia from the past.

Help us discover this blended which combines together malts of the Speyside, Orkney Islands and Islay. Under-standing it, maybe we’ll discover a little more about our-selves too.

  • Creativity in power: One of the classic Samaroli ‘s assem-bly. Rich opulent and powerful. In the mouth it is round and enveloping. It keeps the kingship of precious gems, long with sweet sensations. The finish is persistent with a strong touch of fresh hay, rhubarb and roots.

It is like a hill in a late sunny afternoon, with the grass cut and hay drying, in the shade of a pergola we are offered with tea toast and maple.

An infinity of tones that defy our memory and force us to look for scents and sensations of the past. Help us to discover this blended which combines together the Spey-side malts of the Orkney, Islands and Islay... Understand-ing it, perhaps, we will discover a little more ourselves.

  • Inhabitant and traveler of a new world that in a few dec-ades has changed more than in 10 centuries. Young, beautiful, no makeup, rich and full of enthusiasm because his naivety. It brings with him the curiosity, the desire to live a backpack full of projects dreams and ideas. Cosmo-politan citizen with no preconceptions, in the center of a global village. We have to enjoy it generously aware that being young does have its limitations, the character is to smooth and polish.

Let’s go back to what we were, we have to have fun and get carried away by his enthusiasm, like when we go on a ride after long time and we forgot for a moment what we are. Elusive in the glass, like a madman running towards the train leaving, the first scents and perfumes sting the nostrils. Carob and in particular ink, a brand new passport which receives the first stamp. The nose is a bit lacqued, glossy, we can say enamelled.

The taste is aromatic, thyme, rosemary, mint and sage’s tones surprise us. Roaring like a fresh wood fire.A little spicy, charming and provocative depth if we leave the time to express themselves. To the young people who have paid the bill for all. The bill presented by the igno-rance and violence of those people who are afraid of the new and changes.

  • For better or for worse... Man is the measure of all things...Greek philosophy is the root of our way of dealing with problems, events and life in general. The myths of the war, the journey, the heroes as those of the Odyssey, the Iliad, the Aeneid... swords, chariots, horses... Ulyss-es, Hector, Achilles... getting lost is easy. The contrast between madness and reason creates electricity. Mind and conscience are the two poles that usually give birth to great man’s actions... and isn’t this whiskey a great ac-tion? Fortunately, the result is here in front of you... in your glass. A Scotsman who plows through the routes of the Hellenic Mediterranean.

Salty nose, wet wood tones. As the boat’s breath that har-moniously coexists and fights the sea. Lavender and oys-ters touch rises like rocks in the waves. Metal perfumes bring to mind the alembics that watch the sea through the windows. A perfect spirit that seems to go beyond the usual sensory lines, it seems to hear it. Yes. It seems to hear a vibrating sound. In the mouth it is restless, elusive, fast. Spicy tones. A toccata and fugue worthy of the best composers.

  • First experience with this Single Malt of the Islands... Here we are on the scene of a movie set: actors looking for con-centration, in the background the filmmaker immersed in a cloud in fog, with script in hand and mimicking voices. Incisive, intense and multifaceted character.Genius and aggressive we can also say a little moody.Wonderful bou-quet and a Tower of Babel that arches on the palate.

At first, film and solvent hints, it is like entering into the darkroom of a photographer. It then turns quickly to fo-cus like a close-up shot, to notes of roasted cereal, wet leather and undergrowth. The taste is pungent, hard, it tries to hide.

Gracefully salty, peated style, alcoholic with imperti-nence. An accomplished actor, of whom we discover a new talents every time we see him.

Let’s do like this, these films are yours, but I’ll keep for you.(Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, 1988 - Directed by G.Tornatore)

  • I did not know it was a game, I can give up and get back my life... A table surrounded by smoke. The door is opened and the dark room is pierced by the morning light. The players are tired, and overwhelmed by the passion that makes time fly, they come back to reality, all around play-ing cards, empty bottles, overflowing ashtray, the smell of chips and green carpet. We find an old friend a single malt that for a while was not part of our jewels. As that player from another era, his features and his imperfec-tions tell of epic days lived beyond limits...

The nose is overflowing of lived, consumed and mature tones, stand out ginger and cinnamon. The taste is pun-gent, restless, never satisfied you have to wait a decan-tation massaging it. It’s amazing the spicy and menthol flavors and the ripe fruit. I love her wrinkles but she does not understand...

  • Am F#m D7 F#m D7 Am F#m D7 (Alabama Song, The Doors)

A Work Song that marks the timing of mowing or har-vesting. It is like a people that digs and finds in the song the strength and the path of redemption. This single malt is like a chorus in Alabama song where, Blues, Jazz, Gos-pel and religious songs merge together…

A pungent smell arises from the glass as a deep lament. Thus we smell unripe hints of yellow fruit, bread dough, wet meadow warmed by the first rays of sunshine and bark consumed by the weather. It is dry on the palate with salty, flavourful rich tones. The Aftertaste is slightly mineral.

Oh, moon of AlabamaWe now must say goodbyeWe’ve lost our good old mamaAnd must have whisky, oh, you know why

  • From where a composer starts with a clean sheet on his desk? What is the first chiselled by the sculptor watching the virgin marble block? And the chef?... and the master of ceremonies that has to organize the best party of the year?

The art, the creativity, the desire to excel... to amaze... is the engine that has always elevated the imagination and the human intellect and has projected the human-ity, the universe and the infinity beyond themselves. We dedicate this whiskey to those who study, invent, create, distort, preserve... to those who love their passion to the point of leaving the certain for the uncertain.

The smell of a pantry just opened. Flour, valuable and secret victuals overlap in a chaotic but orderly manner. Balanced. Balsamic, salty, savory and succulent tones are the prelude to a spirit to eat. We find honey, spices, mint, berries... and even a little licorice.

The taste is delicious, succulent like a plate of bygone days... at the beginning it is saline, pungent and spicy it becomes fragrant in the mouth as a tigella bread. Fat, juicy, rich... or better opulent. Baroque.

  • In 2016 we got the third Breval 1994 bottling. We have further confirmation of how each malt whiskey barrel lives a parallel life but different. As parallel universes each bar-rel evolves, has a common beginning and a common goal, but the path and the declinations are endless. It is like a piano keyboard, the keys are 88, the pianist is infinite.

The reassuring nose, fully reflects the Samaroli’s genome, elegance. Floral persistence alternates with fruit tones. The spicy and dusty trends of pink pepper and cocoa lull us like the waves of a lonely beach.

Fortunately the palate does not betray us, indeed wel-comes us into his arms. Pungent rhythm, rich in solos... oregano, mint, raisins... A coastal summer table, where there is room for everyone.

    Simply, shockingly, surprisingly... Wonderful!!!

  • Oh captain my captain... Forced to be austere and au-thoritarian, the captain in the silence of the ocean watch the stars to calculate distances and time. He doesn’t know but he drags the ship, but also... men... dreams... hopes... desire for redemption... We see the captain on the deck with a pipe, companion in a thousand adventures, watch-ing upward... Tools, maps, plants, obsessive thought on the route, peering the currents and the clouds on the ho-rizon... will they come? He knows it. The sky seems bigger and bigger, moves and breathes to the rhythm of a deaf-ening silence, as a book leafed through by the wind alter-nates stars, planets, galaxies, and the desire to love, to be as much as possible and as close as possible to infinity.

Tones of herbs, vanilla, licorice and leather in the back-ground surround the alcohol structure that supports the whole as the Atlas. Remarkable persistence in the mouth, the typical Islay’s salinity with grace and elegance is com-bined with salted butter and bread crust... almost an old champagne yeast.Complex, the myrtle and the Mediter-ranean herbs explode in the mouth, but still maintains a buttery sweetness. A pasty but crispy honey, the sweet notes that refine it must be waited, as a vase that takes shape, as the safe route that for sure our captain will take.

  • The measurement of time... Weigh, interpret, seek the time and at the end find the right one. This is what we remember and rediscover every time we make a bottling, every time we introduce you to a whisky like this one. Be-hind every tool that we use there is a history of centuries of discovery, mastery, intelligence and research. Here we are and here we feel like the Master that through the sun-dial turns the ray of light in time.

This year we present two expressions of Islay that are ex-ceptionally different, although from the same distillery. A full degree and a sherry... 1989 and 1988.

Approaching the nose to the glass we are catapulted on to a beach holding hands with the other half of our uni-verse. Powder, iodine, peat, wood of a fire burning not far from us. Mint, freshly roasted coffee, marjoram and spic-es. The taste is persistent and sharp as we expected it to be. The well balanced alcohol accompanies and supports it with great pace, vivacity and elegance, with a complex structure and grace.

We will never tire of reminding you to not drink it to hast-ily… to stay on topic and to not waste time…

  • Malted Spirit Drink 1967 - 2016He led his race fairly, fell below 40 degrees, he cannot use the title Single Malt Scotch Whisky. When we tasted it the thought flew to the tired runner that at the end of a marathon drags himself in the last meters... viewers incite him... the ruthless judges check that no one help him. We would like to remind the meadows to train, to the rising of the sun, the shadows and the lights, the mountains in the background, the dusty shoes... the time ...

We feel to deliver this spirit of Speyside right to you and to share our emotions and feelings, by pointing out that someone forty-nine years ago has worked, prepared, bri-dled and created a proof of a world that no longer exists.

Elegant, a vein of pleasant and soft alcohol prolongs in-definitely the feeling of sphericity. Nose complex and in-triguing full of perfumes. Mint, rosemary and herbs are complemented by hints of chocolate and fresh leather, generous and very long, ends with a touch of pear.

Two barrels, 2002 and 2004, mixed together for a long time, give rise to this Demerara Vertical. Very complex Rum to be taken seriously. Hard, powerful, strong.

Cuddly nose, with thyme bits, toasted juniper. Give him time to interact, will surprise you with hilarious variations on the theme. The taste is complex, nuanced like an ex-pressionist painting. Opulent tones: Meringue, peanut butter and toasted bread.

We are when we mix together different souls and create a rum for example... and this is our Rum Rock. Our soul remains linked to the most important musical revolu-tion in history. This is the distillate that we dedicate to the revolution, the sound, the alternation of perfumes, scents and feelings make us imagine the jump and dance of hun-dred thousand people.

To the nose hints of chlorophyll, exotic fruits and a pun-gent note of goat cheese. It will be a bit reckless but we think that this is the champagne of our rum. In the mouth hints of sharp tones that sparkle like a bubble on our palate.

  • We are pleased to count among our ranks another Pana-ma Rum. We especially liked its personality and we were very surprised, in fact, to discover such a rich, mellow and complex rum. Something far from trivial; it is rare to find Spanish style rums with these particular features and qualities.

Very Oriental scents and flavours... An opulent bou-quet, hints of peking duck, soufflé, popcorn popping. And later, restrained until the very moment the spirit hits the glass, balsamic, fruity tones - partially dormant, not fully evolved. A bazaar, a Sunday market, confusion, chaos, noise, people, all of that and more... Everything overlaps with a pleasant alcoholic pace, finding balance in the elements reflected in its nose. Advanced balsamic, chlorophyllic notes, but white chocolate too, lacquer and ground coffee. Happy Drinking!!!

  • How intriguing, how fascinating to see the impact of the production process itself. How wonderful to discover the various states of evolution that Guyana rums go through before they reach the extensive aging phase.

Three “little brothers” of the late nineties and the begin-ning of the new millennium. More precisely 1998, 2001 and 2002, who will keep us company this year.

An exciting opportunity for you, our valued customers, to see just how much the product changes in the barrel. Of course, the scents and flavours are similar, since they come from the same stock, you’ll enjoy seeing how their characteristics evolve, we’re sure.

Tobacco, thyme and mediterranean spices, wild tones of nuts and dried fruit. In its flavour, as the middle brother it must show good judgement - but the pull towards lit-tle brother still remains, creating something a little frenetic, something permissible, something intrusive. But if you set it free, it begins to take form and stabilise.

  • Nicaragua is perhaps the one place which summarises the history of Central America. The middle ground, the Car-ibbean Sea to the right, the Pacific Ocean to the left. The first men who populated the South American continent would definitely have passed through here - the conquis-tadors, western dictators who fought and succeeded one another, leaving behind now lost cultures. At the same time it represents a bridge between South and North America but also between East and West. And Nicara-gua’s rum has inherited this disciplined, tough nature - military, some might say.

Granite scents of nuts and dried fruit, hazelnut, tobacco, licorice. Long-lasting perceptions that leave no room for interpretation. A penetrating, austere taste, one of al-monds, yeast, biscuit, powdered milk. It certainly won’t go unnoticed. Powerful.

  • The golden age of the Caribbean... the eighteenth cen-tury when the galleons from Old Europe brought ad-venturers, impoverished aristocrats, desperados, bandits and benefactors. All in search of a second chance, a new destiny. Trinidad, from Columbus onwards (the explorer who discovered the island on his third voyage), certainly saw it all, receiving - or in some cases stealing - something from every one of these many souls.

Mossy, earthy aromas, like a choir at the back of the nave. The flavours feel remote, preceded by an instant soft-ness, as vanilla, licorice, nuts and dried fruits mingle with notes of fruity freshness. This is a complex rum, shall we say, a rum that teases.

A taste explosion of myrtle, juniper berry and a buttery sweetness of pollen. Flavours rounded and softened, almost brought to life. Green tones provide structure. Reminiscent of glowing embers of a Harbour Inn in May or June of the late 1700s...

A pungent aroma, but already more elegant, less roguish. Hints of thyme, juniper, tobacco, shiny leather typical of more well-worn variations... a little bit like opening a loft that has been shut for a long time.

Slower in the mouth, aggressive with opulent sweet scents, soft and less sharp than its younger companions. A well-defined tannin that begins to prepare for a long aging process. Don’t worry my friend... we’ve bottled it!

  • Our annual flying visit to the French overseas territories. Known as the Island of Beautiful Waters in pre-Columbi-an times, this small strip of land nestled in the Atlantic first attracted the Spanish, the French, the English... then for a period was even promised to Sweden. This chaotic past is evident in its rums, which are less Caribbean in nature, more European. Elegant, mellow, with a blue soul, a little pained.

Like a proud lament, the bouquet permeates initially, with tones of chocolate, black cherry, almond and dried fruit. Of course pausing for a moment triggers other scents, maple syrup, berries and menthol.

The enveloping palate brings hints of balsamic, but the prevailing sensation is one of tobacco, vanilla and licorice. Full of rhythm. A spirit of which we will never tire; com-plex and satisfying, it stimulates our imagination and pro-vokes our curiosity.

  • “Oh my gosh what a rum!!! Let’s leave it like this”. That was the comment at first taste, like a child who unwraps the best gift. Approaching the nose to the new toys smell, we had an expression gratified and amazed at the same time.Shades of lacquer, paint and enamel in the open-ing that quickly turns into almond and marzipan aromas which expresses its maturity. The elegance after twenty-four years of aging is almost embarrassing.

In the mouth every hint overlaps and expresses in a circu-lar manner, fruity flavors like banana and pineapple; spicy like star anise and cinnamon; balsamic and floral like lin-den and honey.

Charred coal aftertaste mixed with salty sand, transports us on a tropical beach. Exhausted from a wild night, we let the stars kidnap us.

  • With this bottling we get a glimpse of the goal... We are 26 years old. It is an honor to follow the evolution of the King of rum, and each year it reminds us of its character-istics. As each scar of a gladiator recollects a battlefield, so every facet that we find on the nose and palate testify the path and the fight that this noble spirit battled against the wood and the weather.

Ample and spicy bouquet that conveys the personality of Guyana’s Rum. It evolves with slow and irregular rhythms. Let it become familiar with the air... the glass... the out-side world. Dried grapes, ripe fruit, tobacco, thyme and toasted oregano. The taste is pungent and at the same time silky and balsamic. The closure is of mint and licorice.
