Chapatti A gentle and funny late-in-life romance by Christian O’Reilly.

Unexpected sparks fly when Betty, the caregiver to an older woman and 19 cats, meets Dan and his dog Chapatti in a Dublin vet office. This rich and poignant story centers around two lonely animal lovers who rediscover, very unexpectedly, the need for caring and human companionship. A bustling weekend gathering at The Hollow, a country home of Sir Henry and Lady Angkatell, goes deathly awry. Alabama Story A children’s book sparks a lively confrontation in 1959 Montgomery.

A Midwest première by Kenneth Jones.

Inspired by true events, Alabama Story centers on Emily Wheelock Reed, a fearless no-nonsense librarian who refuses to remove a children’s book from the state library, despite a campaign spearheaded by the disarming but vocal segregationist Senator E.W. Higgins. As they move quietly and with humor toward their inevitable confrontation, a parallel story of childhood friends, Joshua and Lily, a black man and white woman, reflects the personal and political tensions alive in Montgomery.
