The Minnesota Vikings appreciate the media coverage the team receives from all local, regional, national and interna-tional outlets. The Vikings believe in developing mutually beneficial relationships with the media, and the organization emphasizes a positive and professional working environment with all entities.

The ultimate goal of the Vikings public relations department is to provide accurate and timely information on the team and to ensure we assist media with their daily duties of covering the team.

In the interest of consistency and efficiency, this handbook, which includes procedures and policies, has been developed to serve the media. The department will be pleased to answer any questions or discuss any suggestions that will help main-tain these positive relationships.

* Members of the media ARE allowed to blog and/or tweet from the practice field during training camp. Please refer to regular season section regarding the Twitter policies for regular season practices at the Winter Park facility.

* Due to safety precautions, no tripods are permitted along the sidelines; however, they are allowed in the end zones.

MEDIA AVAILABILITY* Please let a member of the Vikings PR staff know which players you would like to visit with during media availability. The PR staff will make
