The Infrastructure Society of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) was launched in 2011 along with 30+ other societies in support of TAG’s mission: to broaden the organization’s reach and to provide an educational platform for Georgia’s growing technology community.

OUR MISSIONThe Infrastructure Society’s mission is to expose the rich infrastructure in Georgia, enabling our state to lead in many areas of technology. Transportation, power, water, data centers and fiber infrastructure, along with the services which are enabled by these resources, make Georgia the logical choice for the next high-tech industry destination.

OUR EVENTSThe Infrastructure Society hosts topical events seven times annually featuring speakers from Georgia’s leading companies, research institutions and colleges. In addition, the society hosts an annual clay shoot to provide an opportunity for TAG members to get to know each other in a social setting. Topics include the future of wireless technology and network architecture, data center trends and virtual networks, cloud computing, energy initiatives, transportation plans and more. All programs support TAG’s mission: to educate, promote and unite Georgia’s technology community to foster an innovative and connected marketplace.

Ralph Garcia, Chairman, Infrastructure Society
