3.00pm on 11 Jan 2017 to 4.00pm on 16 Jan 2017. Registration for courses under the JAE should be submitted

Laptops with internet access will be made available for use at ITLRM 2 (Level 3) for JAE registration during the library opening hours till 16 Jan 2017.

Posting results will be released on Thursday, 2 February 2017 through
a) JAE –IS (JAE website) b) SMS to mobile phone number of applicant
given during registration Applicants posted to Junior Colleges or Millennia
Institute are to report to their posted institutions on 3 February 2017.
JAE Registration –Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP)
2016 4NA students eligible for PFP will receive Form P.
Application for PFP commences from 11 Jan 2.00 pm to 16 Jan 4.00 pm.
Results will be released at 2.00 pm on Thursday,19 Jan 2017 through the PFP website.
Students to indicate accept, reject or appeal by 4.00 pm on Sunday, 22 Jan.

JAE Registration –Direct-Entry-Scheme to Polytechnic Programme (DPP) Final application for DPP commences from 11 Jan
2.30 pm to 16 Jan 4.00 pm. Results will be released from 9 am on Thursday,19
Jan through DPP application portal.

Early Admissions Exercise (EAE)
Students who had accepted conditional offers to a polytechnic course through EAE would have their EAE offers confirmed if they meet the following criteria:
a) A net ELR2B2 score of 26 points or better for the GCE O-Level examinations; and
b) Minimum Entry Requirements for the respective polytechnic course.
Students who do not meet the above criteria may take part in JAE.

Direct School Admission –Junior Colleges (DSA-JC) Students who had accepted offers through the 2016
DSA-JC exercise are deemed to be admitted to their chosen JC if they have met the eligibility criteria for admission to JC based on their GCE O-Level examination results.
Students admitted to a JC through DSA-JC will not be eligible to participate in the JAE.
Students who do not meet the JC admission criteria may take part in JAE.

3 Important Reminders
1) Consider course choices wisely – choose courses that are comparable to their aggregate scores for better fit and better chances of admission.

3 Important Reminders
2) Make full use of 12 choices and indicate at least 2-3 courses where aggregate scores are much better than the previous year’s course cut off points.
3) Appeals for transfer to another JC are not likely to be successful unless aggregate meets the cut off points for JC of interest.
