2010-10-04VDC Head Ed Gumbs alerts the MFK party leader (Gerrit Schotte), PS (Helmin Weils) and MAN) Charles Cooper of the request by the governor to set up a safety investigation into the candidate ministers and that the process would take three weeks and this would impact the 10-10-10 date

2010-10-10The Country Netherlands Antilles was dissolved and Curacao gained the status of Land Acquired within the Kingdom. Schotte was appointed Prime Minister by Governor Frits. Edsel Gumbs continued the investigation as acting head of Intelligence Service Curacao (VDC. 2010-10-27Schotte removes Edsel Gumbs as Head of VDC. Memo from VDC regarding screenings leaked

2010-11-24The court determined that Edsel Gumbs dismissal was unlawful and that Dindials appointment did not follow law protocol.

2010-11-25Schotte announces again that he has no confidence in Edsel Gumbs as Head of VDC as he should be able to blindly trust this position but it can not be trusted as Gumbs did not stop his investigation when the government was reformed. And that Schotte did not give any command to conduct of continue a safety investigation and therefor Gumbs can not continue to be at this post

2010-11-26Yves Cooper reports that PM Schotte did not pass the safety screening according to secret documents that were circulating. Copper also reported that Minister of Economics Aairs Nasser El Hakim and the Minister of Finance George Jamaloodin did not pass screening citing all three persons had debts and other dark things related to finances.

2010-11-26Omayra Leeflang (former PAR) stated that the research done by Edsel Gumbs was not illegal. She acknowledged that the order came from the Governor before the ocial swearing in of the new Prime Minister. She claimed that Schotte delayed providing the names of his list of candidates for Ministry positions will 2010-10-07 and so the investigation was delayed

2010-11-27Schotte announced that an investigation into the functions of the Security Service of Curacao. This put doubts on the validity of the reports from the VDC. The Governor gives orders to Edsel Gumbs to continue the investigation after the new government was put into place. The question is about the legality of how the process was handled.
