ORDER:-

In the circumstances stated by the I&CAD Dept., in the reference read above, Government after careful consideration of the matter, hereby rename the Irrigation & Command Area Development Department as “Water Resources Department.”

2. The newly created “Water Resources Department” shall also be the Nodal Department to monitor and coordinate all the activities of various departments related to water conservation “Neeru-Chettu.”

3. The General Administration (Cabinet) Department are requested to issue suitable amendment to the First Schedule of A.P. Government Business Rules and Secretariat Instructions.
