    An economic operator is a natural or a legal person whoacts as at least in one of the following roles

    • Installer of a lift

    • Manufacturer of a safety component for lifts

    • Authorised representative for a manufacturer or an installer

    • Importer of a safety component

    • Distributor of a safety component
