DrillingSahara prides itself on being the top 30 meter drilling specialists. Sahara is the largest auger geochemical drilling group in Africa with 31 Landcruiser-mounted auger drilling rigs and a number of Man-Portable Augers where low impact is required. Sahara is growing its geotechnical sub-soil drilling capacity to accommodate site investigations (SPT etc.) Sahara was responsible for the introduction of mechanized Auger Geochemistry in West Africa which has resulted in the prolific low cost GOLD discoveries. Auger is now widely accepted as the optimal first-pass exploration approach in the Sahelian goldbelts.
