Major Transportation Projects
Evaluation of Candidates All projects in the 10-year UTP are candidate projects. Eligibility is determined with a screening process based on the criteria provided in the TAC, including:
(1) Total project cost
(2) High level of public or legislative interest
(3) Significant level of local or private entity funding
(4) Project is unusually complex
(5) Project satisfies a time-sensitive critical need
Benchmarking Progress of Major Transportation Projects must be tracked and evaluated.
– Benchmarks include ENV clearance, ROW acquisition, UTL adjustments, 100% PS&E, award of construction contract, construction completion
Critical Benchmarks apply if listed in first year of UTP
