REAR-FACING: THE SAFEST WAY FOR NEWBORN BABIES TO TRAVELFOR INFANTS AGED FROM 0-12 MONTHS / UP TO 13KG

Newborn babies must travel in a rear-facing seat. To secure the seat, adjust the harness so the webbingcomes through the harness slots behind or below the babys shoulders. For convenience, you canpurchase a base that fits into the car with detachable carrier. Many infant seats also fit into a stroller.

FORWARD-FACING: THE SAFEST WAY FOR TODDLERS TO TRAVELTHE NEXT STAGE FOR INFANTS AGED 9 MONTHS 3.5 YEARS / 9KG TO 18KG

These bigger seats allow children to ride forward facing. They are still used semi-reclined to keepthe babys head on the headrest and its airway open. Harness straps still come from behind or belowthe shoulders.
