SAY CHEESE!North Kansas City Parks and Recreation may take photos at activities and special events. These photos may be used periodically in the Enrichment catalog, on the city website and any other form of advertisement. Thank you from North Kansas City Parks and Recreation for participating and enjoying our programs and allowing us to take your picture.

Effective June 30, 2015, North Kansas City Parks and Recreation will no longer be located at 1999 Iron Street. Our temporary location for offices, senior programs, all adult and children’s classes will be at Caboose Park, which is located on the West side of the Northland Lofts off Armour and Howell. We will continue to operate and provide existing programs as we have in the past. If you have any questions or concerns please contact our office at 816-300-0545.

A lot of fantastic things are happening for North Kansas City Parks and Recreation. The permanent sign has been installed for Waggin’ Trail Park. The Parks and Recreation board is astonished with the volume of park patrons and their dogs who utilize the park. We are happy to see the park be so successful.

We have a tremendous amount of events coming this summer. We are hosting a monthly Friday Night Concert Series starting June 12th with the Classic Rock Band Overdrive. The bands will be playing at the Festival Pavilion from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. See page 5 for more information. Movies in the Park will return this summer with two special activities going on prior to the movie in June and July. More information can be found on page 7. Take a look at our youth and adult programs because we have a lot of unique programs being offered this summer: Bling Bling It’s A Girl Thing, Animal Tales-Reptiles, a variety of art classes and so much more. North Kansas City Parks and Recreation appreciates all our patrons and community for their continued support.
