//CHURCH LOGO Our  church  logo  consists  of  a  logomark  &  a  wordmark.  They  should  be  used  together  in  most  cases.  The  logomark  can  be  used  alone  for  small  applications  such  as  social  media.  The  wordmark  can  be  displayed  in  a  horizontal  or  stacked  format,  with  the  stacked  format  being  the  primary  option.    The  logo  should  always  be  surrounded  by  an  adequate  amount  of  white  space.  In  this  case,  the  border  should  be  at  least  equal  to  the  height  of  the  wordmark.  The  logo  is  its  approved  formats  can  be  found  at  media/style  guide  &  files/official  logos/Pantano.  The  Pantano  logo  should  only  be  used  on  printed  materials  approved  by  the  Communication  Team.    Never  stretch  proportions,  adjust  spacing,  pixelate  or  use  a  different  typeface  for  the  logo.

In  your  email  settings  where  it  says  “Default  text  style”  choose  the  font  Tahoma.  

//COLOR PALETTE Designs  that  represent  the  Pantano  Christian  Church  brand  in  church-­‐wide  communication  should  use  this  color  scheme.  Examples  include  our  stationary,  website  &  app.    Unique  designs  for  events,  resources  &  sermon  series  are  not  limited  to  this  scheme.  Still,  our  color  palette  is  always  simple  and  bold,  often  using  one  main  color  with  supporting  neutrals.  Though  bold,  our  color  scheme  has  a  slightly  desaturated  feel.

COMMON WORDS Our  church  should  be  referred  to  as  “Pantano  Christian  Church,”  “PCC”  or  “Pantano.”  The  following  versions  of  our  name  are  incorrect:

 Please  use  the  proper  spelling  &  capitalization  for  the  following  ministries,  events  &  locations  for  promotional  use  –  including  during  weekend  services.  

RULES AND STYLES We  use  the  AP  style  guide  for  rules  &  styles  concerning  language  in  print  &  on  the  web.  Examples  of  AP  include:    

! No  Oxford  comma  (no  comma  before  “and”  in  a  list)  ! Times  include  no  extra  zeros  (5  PM  not  5:00  PM)  ! “Th”  is  not  used  with  dates  (July  12  not  July  12th)  ! Spell  out  numbers  0-­‐9;  numerals  are  always  used  with  ages  ! Use  “&”  instead  of  “and”  on  website  copy,  in  flyers  &  other  

space  restrictive  media.  ! Only  use  one  space  after  a  period.  

 For  common  Christian  terms  &  Scripture  abbreviations,  we  follow  The  Little  Style  Guide  to  Great  Christian  Writing  and  Publishing.  Our  only  difference  is  that  we  capitalize  all  references  to  God  except  “who”  and  “whom.”    We  list  phone  numbers  in  the  following  format:
