Requirements for EMS Kit Zach Plotkin
• Weight of Kit – Less than 125 lbs (excluding litter) • Kit shall consist of:
– 1 litter – Medical panel to control: Oxygen, Air, Suction, Lighting,
Defibrillator, Ventilation – Ceiling hooks for IV Fixture
• No more than 2 passenger seats and 1 crew seat and co-pilot controls shall be removed
• Kit must use existing floor and seat mounting provisions • Kit shall be interchangeable in 505 aircraft and easily
transportable to the fleet and installed • Kit shall be removable using only common tools
– Reference Requirements
o Maintenance activities: 20th percentile female; 95th percentile male
o Aircraft shall preclude the entrapment of FOD o Provide a high degree of fit and finish, the aircraft outside mold
