2015 NAA Standout Exhibit Ideas
Selected from the E3 Exhibiting Effectiveness Evaluation Team By Jefferson Davis, President, Competitive Edge
As a value-added exhibitor service, NAA provided sponsor exhibiting companies with a
complimentary E3 Exhibiting Effectiveness Evaluation. To add value for all exhibitors, we
thought it would be educational and helpful to highlight exhibits that displayed a high level
of imagination, creativity, and/or exhibiting effectiveness.
Note: Please understand, these are not ranked in order, nor do they represent the only
effective exhibiting practices observed at NAA. These are just the ones that at a quick
glance stood out during our final walkthrough on the show floor. Enjoy!
As a value-added exhibitor service, NSBA provides exhibiting companies with a
complimentary E3 Exhibiting Effectiveness Evaluation. Too add even more value, the
evaluation team thought it would be both educational and helpful to highlight some of the
exhibits that displayed a high level of imagination, creativity and/or exhibiting effectiveness.
Please understand, these are not ranked in order, nor do they represent the only effective
exhibiting at NSBA. These are just the ones that at a quick glance stood out during our
final walkthrough on the show floor. Enjoy!
1. TransUnion: Large well placed
graphics used infographics and quick
read copy to communicate a crystal
clear value proposition.
2. Conservice: Creative exhibit property
integrated lighting, color, imagery and
dimension to grab attention, brand and
tell a visual story.
3. Apartments.com: The future is now...
Their large LED backwall was a show
stopper. It used size, motion, imagery and
lighting to effectively deliver relevant
messaging to attendees and drive traffic.
4. Apartments.com: The giveaway to
beat all giveaways. Attendees registered
to win a Tesla filled with $100,000 of
real cash. Complete with an armed
guard.

10. ResMan: Integrating software is a
big pain point for attendees. Resman did
a great job of using large, well-placed
graphics to communicate a way to
alleviate attendees’ pain.
9. Allegion: This 10 x 20 booth is a
clinic on how to execute an effective
inline booth. Strong branding, large
imagery, clear well-placed copy, colored
carpeting, ease of access and interactive
product demonstrations make this a
winner.
5. PAS: Staff apparel can be key in
drawing attention. PAS’s football team
was a can’t miss on the show floor.
6. RentPath: Attendees look for places
to relax and recharge on the floor. This
figure 8 shaped rest and recharge center
delivered the goods.
7. Sherwin Williams: Gamification is a
very effective way to engage, educate,
brand and let attendees have some fun.
This color match game hit the mark!
8. Entrata: “Think outside the box”
theme was very well executed all the
way down to the exhibit staff’s red
tennis shoes.

11. Landrum Human Resources:
Creating meaningful interactivity is key
to a great booth. This company gave
attendees a chance to share their
frustrations while also collecting valuable
market research.
12. Landrum Human Resources:
Many exhibitors use flat panels and end
up just showing silent movies. This
company used the exhibit to ask
attendees an engaging question.
13. RealPage: Knowing attendees’ time
in the hall is limited, they preset
appointments and provided innovative
discussion tables with graphics
communicating key messages.
14. Home Depot: A great job of booth
graphics that were well tailored to the
interests and needs of the show
audience.
We hope the exhibits featured in this report inform and inspire your
company to continually improve your exhibit. Maybe next year we
can feature your company in this report.
