New Jersey Hospital Association, a not-for-profit trade association representing New Jersey’s hospitals and other healthcare providers that provides leadership on quality and patient safety, education and advocacy in both Washington, D.C., and in Trenton. Her involvement in supporting Catholic Charities was inspired by her parents’ focus on giving back to one’s community, the care and assistance she experienced as a child when the agency helped families impacted by the closing of the Roebling steel mill, and her respect for the agency’s mission. “I am honored and deeply humbled to receive this award.”

Following in son Juan’s footsteps, Olga also started going to El Centro, taking ESL and computer classes. Later, she took healthy relationship workshops, parenting classes and GED classes. Olga says, “the love and compassion that El Centro staff have for people is priceless.”
