STRONGER TOGETHER Working together to strengthen our communities

Dear Friends,

“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” That quote from Henry Ford echoes our YMCA promise– we are joined together by a shared commitment to help young people achieve their potential, build the bonds of family, foster a sense of responsibility and give people of all ages and backgrounds skills and values that strengthen their characters.

We have seen a remarkable year at camp, but there is still much we have to do together. Our Board and staff have spent the last months crafting goals and plans which call for bold action steps– to uplift youth, support families, empower our health choices and connect our neighbors through shared solutions. Issues of access, equity and the state of families and children are front and center in our ambitious plans. And we will tackle these most pressing issues in our communities with leadership, advocacy and collaboration with you– together.

Please enjoy this annual report, and thank you to all who strengthen our community each and every day.

Tom Mason, Chair Board of Trustees Keith VanDerzee, CEO

“I am writing on behalf of my grandson. I would like to thank the donors, camp directors and camp counselors for affording my grandson the chance to attend Camp Mason. He had a wonderful time and came back so happy. It is with deep appreciation that I thank all of you for your generosity and giving kids a chance to experience things they may never have the opportunity to do.”
