Playing sports for an NCAA school is not your only option. Check out the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) or the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) for other opportunities. We’ll have a speaker later in the year.

DON’T GET STUCK ON THE BENCH IN COLLEGE.To play Division I sports, you need to qualify academically. To meet the minimum requirements for Division I student-athletes enrolling in college in August 2016 or later you must:•Graduate from high school•Complete 16 Core Courses, including 10 before your seventh semester•Earn a minimum 2.300 Grade-Point Average in core courses to compete in your first year of college•Earn a combined SAT or ACT score that matches your core-course GPA on the sliding scale.

Ankle braces are a very personalized product. They must be able to fit your shoe. That means you might have to get larger shoe. Be sure you try them on before buying. Get used to wearing them ALL THE TIME while playing basketball. DO NOT buy the simple slide on type … they don’t work.
Every player must have ankle braces or their ankles taped before practicing or playing.
