Snowboarding is like a “choose your own adventure” series. There are many ways to get through it and ultimately it is up to you. This self-guided experience is yours. What you take away from a day riding is for you to keep and share as you please. There is no definition as to what snowboarding is, how it is done or what it should look like. Most importantly there are no boundaries as to where snowboarding can take you. We call this The MISSION. Finding your getaway and choosing your path is what keeps you coming back for more. Since ‘96, we have decided to take our own unique path designing and creating functional snow-board products for all types of terrain and riders. We will continue to take this approach and hope you agree that the outcome is the best snowboarding product that money can buy.

Flow bindings utilize our patented Speed Entry Technology which allows you better ease of use in addition to superior performance and comfort. They provide quicker response to your movements via the PowerStrap, PowerTriangle, Hiback and Baseplate. Since Flow bindings transfer your energy more efficiently, we’ve incorporated reinforcement materials in our boards, where the bindings directly make contact. Snowboarding should not be confusing or intimidating. Categorizing and stereotyping snowboard products has become an industry hiccup. Let’s remember what‘s most important. It’s up to you to decide how, where and what you want to ride. Our diagrams, definitions and explanations are designed to educate you on our product and help you choose what is best for you and what type of riding you do. Every snowboard we design can be ridden in any condition; some are designed to excel in certain terrain like all-mountain riding, while others are specific to the park. All are without limitations. If you’re not sure, then this diagram will help you understand what it is you may want when choosing your setup.

Designing boards that are size and weight specific to smaller and

lighter riders is a key factor in our development process. Our women’s

Like Flow Micron boards and bindings, our Micron boots are

created with the little ones in mind. With adjusted fits and

precision flex, these boots fit better than any other kids’

boots on the market. Micron boots will allow your little

ones to ride longer and enjoy more of their day on the hill.

bindingsFlow SpeedEntry bindings are different by design. In true Flow fashion,

we have once again taken binding technology to the next level. We are

offering four baseplate platforms (two of which feature our N.A.S.T.Y.

WOMEN’S BINDINGS

When talking about snowboard bindings, we understand

that women have unique proportions compared to men and

need binding features that fit accordingly. We have

developed our women’s bindings around this idea. Our

women’s bindings have lower hibacks, smaller straps and

reduced baseplates that all play into the reason why our

bindings fit so well. By having these features refined,

our bindings respond and react to your movements like no

other. Flow bindings give you more time to ride.

One-piece ABT, on our I-Rock reverse-camber boards, is a one-piece silicone insert placed directly in the center of the board. This creates a smoother and easier ride with less chance of catching your edge. It also creates a dampening system to absorb chatter in the crud.

Two-piece ABT is designed for a powder-specific board featured on the Darwin. The two silicone inserts are positioned towards the tail of the board. This eases the pressure on your back leg by eliminating the vibra-tions and chatter associated when riding at high speeds in powder or heavier spring-like snow conditions.

Four-piece ABT is featured on Pop-Cam boards. The four silicone inserts are placed directly under both bindings / feet to dampen and eliminate chatter. This is great for riding at high speeds, uneven hard-packed snow or landing big jumps.

Five-piece ABT has 5 silicone inserts strategically placed in the middle of your board and under your feet to dampen the ride and allow for smoother turns. With Flow’s ABT you will feel confident to push your limits, and riding fatigue will never be an issue!

A board profile is the shape of the bend from tip to tail. The different profiles dictate the type of performance you can expect out of each board. Flow offers a diverse range of profiles, from the easy going rocker shape to the aggressive, more traditional, camber shape.

Reverse camber with a convex base for a natural feel on rails and stability in variable conditions. Combined with camber starting before the binding zone, I-ROCK provides stability and camber-like pop for peak to park performance.

Augmented Base Technology (A.B.T.) is the first 3-D augmented base that adapts to any terrain. We’ve added silicone inserts that absorb impact, reduce vibration and deliver the smoothest ride ever. A.B.T. moves naturally providing a more stable platform, whether landing a jump, hitting a rail or just riding through variable snow conditions.

We specifically use wood for it’s liveliness, weight to strength ratio and overall feel. Computer aided machines allows us to profile our woodcores to an exact thickness throughout the board giving you increased pop for better ollies and stability while riding in any snow condition.

From turning at high speeds in pow to spinning 9’s over a 50ft booter, we understand how drastically sidecut effects the overall performance of a snowboard. Each sidecut technology is designed to match the demands to today’s rider.

Featured on Flow boards with ABT, and the White Out: 3-D Structurn is a series of oval dimples that are pressed into the material on the base of our boards. These dimples reduce suction that is created when the base heats up the snow caused by the friction of riding down the hill. By breaking up this suction your base glides faster and will turn with less effort.

Flow has combined our unique fiberglass matrix with specifically placed kevlar and carbon beams to con-centrate on strength, torsional rigidity and stiffness throughout our boards. These composite constructions, combined with our sidecut technology, is designed to give a more responsive feel and consistent ride while performing any spin, technical trick or just riding the entire mountain.

Our lightest most responsive core, with the highest strength- to-weight construction. This specifically profiled core fuses several species of poplar woods resulting in a more stable super-light snappy feel.

With most fibers running tip-to-tail at a 30 degree angle, and vertically stitched carbon strands outside of the inserts, this glass/carbon composite matrix gives tons of pop with torsional freedom while dis-tributing binding power over a larger area.

The special configuration of Bi-Axial glass design creates a smooth yet responsive feel. The Bi-Axial glass provides longitudinal pop and tortional support for easier turns. New for this year, we are adding carbon stringers to most boards that feature Bi-Axial glass. Our Sintered base material is more durable and stronger than the Extruded base. It absorbs wax very well, and is much faster creating a smooth glide. It is one of the most durable materials on the market and can handle any sliding feature you ride over.

The Optix 2000 is a low maintenance base; it’s smoother and less po-rous creating a durable, fast ride.

We take one extra step to making the best bases on the market. We blend graphite into our already fast sintered bases creating an even faster, more durable ride with even more wax absorption. Graphite helps reduce the friction between your base and the snow when riding making this base even faster. This is the perfect platform for speed and durability.

Often times the liner is overlooked but we understand the importance of every aspect of your gear. We’ve paid special attention to the internal harness by equipping it with tons of features.

The closer you get to the foot, the more critical the technology. We design from the inside out, making our insoles a point of key focus in our testing and development.

This special temperature gel compound that has been tested for years, unlike air bags OC Kush is not affected by temperature change.

The HYBRID PowerCapStrap is a revolutionary hybrid between Flow’s SpeedEntry convenience and conventional 2-strap SideEntry, merging the best of both in this Dual-Entry configuration. The toe-cap fits snug onto the toe of you boot, and delivers a perfect fit every time.

The FUSION PowerStrap is 3-D shaped, fuses the ankle and toe zones over the mid-foot, and is padded for a super comfortable form-fit to your boot. This PowerStrap provides maximum support and energy transmission.

The EXO-FIT PowerStrap features an exoskeleton support-frame that wraps the 3-D shaped EVA and form fits perfectly to your boot while providing great ankle support and energy transmission.

HYBRID POWER-CAP-STRAPFUSION POWERSTRAP EXO-FIT POWERSTRAP

Our Flow PowerStraps and the adjustment buckles are also designed to work seamlessly with the SpeedEntry reclining hiback. You have to adjust these foot-straps to your boot only once, then you lock the ratchets into place, and you can immediately start to enjoy the ease of getting into and out of your bindings through the hiback. Set-it and forget-it means: always enjoy the perfect and consistent tightness, no hassle with ratchets in the snow, and with our new LSR-ratchets you can still easily make adjustments on the fly or open & close the foot-straps when you don’t feel like using the hiback.

When you open the hiback, the strap gets actively pushed out of the way, so you can easily and conve-niently get your boot in and out of the binding. And with the same ease, the footstrap hugs your boot at the consistent tightness you first set it at, each time you close the hiback.

When you open the reclining hiback, a simple system actively lifts up the strap, and this same system tight-ens the strap automatically when you close the hiback.
