Celeste Campbell Center has provided recreation activities for adults age 55 and up since 1962. The Senior and Adult Program promotes health and well-being, strengthens support networks and assists individuals to remain independent.

Research shows that just 30 minutes of daily exercise can positively impact weight, reduce the risk of type II diabetes, some cancers and other life-threatening diseases, and significantly im-prove cognitive function.

Campbell Center offers a variety of activities that make exercising fun, including walking and bik-ing groups, dance classes, outdoor recreation, tai chi, and more. Campbell also offers classes in art, handcrafts, computers, and foreign lan-guage, as well as social events, weekly lunch bunch, and presentations on topics ranging from estate planning to “Can the Clutter.” Day trips and woodworking in Campbell’s woodshop are other popular activities.

Campbell Center is located in Skinner Butte Park, with a view of the river and an outdoor courtyard that makes a great setting for weddings.

CONNECTIONS That is what we want you to feel when you come to Campbell Center. You told us that you want to con-nect at Campbell and that you wanted a publica-tion specifically about the activities here. Hence we have created this new directory of activities called "Campbell Connections".

The format has been updated and made easy to navigate. I invite you to look over a copy and see all the wonderful offerings, classes, presentations, and trips designed specifically for adults age 50+ from May through August.

Whether you are 50 or 80 or somewhere not even close to that, please come and "connect" with us!
