Title of the project:Preservation and access to the Yurupari

Documentary Series for Television (1983-1986): Rescuing Intangible Cultural Heritage

Collection: > Collection of 72 documentaries from a TV series on 16mm

color negatives - most complete series of cultural traditions, religious ceremonies, music and cultural customs of Colombia ethnic diversity - 3 have been declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO

Project:> Project includes preparation, cleaning, digitization and

restoration of the films, the translation of documentation and DVD authoring

RADIO TELEVISION VOJVODINA - Serbia

Title of the project:Digitization of documentaries on traditional

crafts from Vojvodina, from RTV film archive

Collection:> 30 hours of 16mm film (positive) with SEPMAG sound (92

cans) - oldest and most endangered part of RTV archive. Belgrade Ethnological Museum underlined its historical and unique value

Project:> Transferring this collection to digital formats and storing

it on server. RTV has film equipment to prepare and digitize films with a telecine

NATIONAL ARCHIVE OF ZIMBABWE

Title of the project:Analogue film digitization and establishment of a

digital competence centre at National archives of Zimbabwe for preservation and access

Collection> 2471 films which represent 330 hours : newsreel items,

instructional films, travel films, interviews, political broadcast and documentaries

Project:> Digitizing the collection, training the team to digitization

process, documenting the collection to make it accessible for research.NAZ benefited from an audit mission in the 2013/2014 SYA program and we want to continue to support this project
