LIST OF 2014 BAR REVIEWERS AND SCHEDULEPolitical Atty. Samson Alcantara-Labor laws-May 1-3, 2014ATTY. SAMSON S. ALCANTARA obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree at the Manuel L. Quezon University School of Law in 1957 and placed 3rd in the Bar Examinations.He is a recipient of the Outstanding Abrenian Award in 2005 and the Achievers Award given by the MLQU in 2007. In 2009, he was named as an Outstanding Alumnus of the MLQU School of Law.Prof. Alcantara started teaching in 1967 handling Political Law and Labor Law subjects. Presently, he is a faculty member of the UST Faculty of Civil Law, MLQ School of Law, PLM College of Law, and a bar reviewer in several law schools. He is the author of Philippine Law and Social Legislation, Reviewer in Labor and Social Legislation and Statutes.

Atty. Noel Tiampong-June 26, 27 and 28, 2014ATTY. NOEL T. TIAMPONG obtained his Bachelors Degree in Social Science (Magna Cum Laude) from West Visayas State University. While he was working at the House of Representatives, he finished his Bachelor of Laws at Manuel L. Quezon University.

He then became a Legal Consultant of Congressman Niel Tupas at the House of Representatives Electoral Tribunal and was later hired as Chief-of-Staff of Congressman Nereo Joaquin of Laguna. Atty. Tupas is a practicing lawyer and a professor of law at MLQU teaching Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Land Titles and Deeds, Legal Ethics and Legal Research. At present, he is the consultant of Representative Bai Sandra A. Sema of Maguindanao and Cotabato City and the Political Affairs Officer VI of Congressman Tupas, Jr. of Iloilo.

ATTY. RHETT EMMANUEL C. SERFINO obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of the Philippines-Los Baos, while his Bachelor of Laws degree from the Manuel L. Quezon University where he was the recipient of two awards namely Justice Carmelino Alvendia Foundation Award in Commercial Law and Justice Arsenio Dizon Award in Remedial Law. In the 1997 Bar Examinations, he placed 3rd.He worked as Court Attorney VI in the Office of Senior Associate Justice Flerida Ruth P. Romero of the Supreme Court. After which, he transferred to the Office of Associate Justice A.R. Melo. Concurrently, he was a writer in Family Today publication where he gives legal advice on issues concerning the family.Atty. Serfino is a professional lecturer of Civil Law subjects in several law schools namely Manuel L. Quezon University, Universidad De Manila, Polytechnic University of the Philippines and University of Manila.

Crim Pro- Judge Carlito Calpatura-June 20-22, 2014JUDGE CARLITO B. CALPATURA obtained his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Manuel L. Quezon University (MLQU). He is a former president of the MLQU Central Student Government and member of the Editorial Board of MLQU Law Quarterly.

Prior to his appointment as Metropolitan Trial Court Judge Branch 62 of Makati City, he served as Prosecutor III in the Department of Justice. He also worked for the Bureau of Customs as a Special Investigator Officer. He also had his own law office, Santiago & Calpatura Law Office.

Judge Calpatura is a professor in MLQU and a seasoned Bar Reviewer in Remedial Law. He has also served as a resource officer for Judges trainings sponsored by the Philippine Judicial Academy.

DEAN LOPE E. FEBLE obtained his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelors degree in Political Science from the Manuel L. Quezon University. Currently, he is taking up his Master of Laws in the same University.

Dean Feble has been active in the practice of law since he passed the Bar in 1984. He worked as a Legal Consultant of the Philippine Veterans Bank and Metropolitan Manila Development Authority. Concurrently, he became the Vice-Dean of the Manuel L. Quezon University School of Law in 2007. Eventually, he became the Dean in June 2009. He has also been lecturing Remedial Law subjects in different Bar Review Schools/Centers.
